While reading Dr. David R Hawkins� books to escape from this pain, I was searching for �God�. 

On one night, I had a dream.

Some lady I know was playing piano around a group of young students.

Those children were singing a song.  It seemed like that they were practicing for a chorus competition.

I felt like that the song was asking questions such as �what life is�, �what living is�, �what living is for�. 

The frequency of that singing voice vibrated my soul.

The vibration of the voice became stronger and I felt like the frequency of my soul was amplified.

�Oh no!  My soul might go out of my body if the vibration becomes any stronger�

My instinct taught me so, and my fear of death stroke me.

At that moment, the teaching of Dr. David R Hawkins� book crossed my mind.

�Leave everything in God�s hands.  Leave your life to HIM.�

As I remembered those words, I gathered my courage and stopped resisting.  Then it did not matter to me any more if my soul left my body. 

All of sudden, life drama (life review) went through my consciousness like a movie at such a high speed.

Since it went so fast, I could not grasp all the details.  But I could still understand �what it was all about�.

Let me try to explain.

There are various types of animals and plans on earth.  Even though they do not seemingly relate to each other,

everything is connected with God�s love and they exist as one living thing on this planet.

�He loveth for his Beloved� sums up what I felt then. 

After the drama ended, I found myself in the intense light.

There is nothing else but light.  It was all light.  All I could see was this shining light.

I felt powerful love, peacefulness, calmness in this light. 

That powerful love was not just a love.  Because of it, everything existed.  This God�s love made everything exist.

I felt intense love and I could not stop loving everything in existence.  I clearly understood that everything is so holy and precious.

While I was touched deeply, I also felt the intense calmness that I had never felt before.  

Then my consciousness snapped back into my physical body and I woke up.

Your religious background at the time of the experience:  Buddhist     Other/Comments: I devoted myself to the book called �The eye of the I� of Dr. David R Hawkins, in search of �God�, �religious truth�, �truth�.

Your religious background currently:  Buddhist  Other/Comments:  After experiencing the love from God, I started reading the religious scriptures of all kinds that I could get my hands on.

Do you consider the content of your experience to be:  Entirely pleasant

At the time of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?   No  

Was the experience difficult to express in words?  Yes     It is impossible to express the powerful love from God in human terms.

My ability of recognition and poor writing skills limit the life drama that went through me at a lightning speed into words.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    My awareness and alertness did not change much.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?      Normal consciousness and alertness   "My awareness and alertness did not change much.

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   The first scene that people were singing seemed like a dream.

After my soul left my physical body, I could still see but my perception altered somehow.

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   The first singing scene had an audio/sound.  The hearing at that time felt like I was hearing/feeling the sound in a dream.

Did you see or hear any earthly events that were occurring during a time that your consciousness / awareness was apart from your physical / earthly body?   No   

What emotions did you feel during the experience?   "Strong love, sense of peacefulness, calmness

Did you pass into or through a tunnel?   No   

Did you see an unearthly light?   Yes   Everything became light and it was radiating unconditional love.

The light was radiating love for everything.

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?  No


Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)?   No   

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings?   No   

Did you become aware of past events in your life during your experience?   No   

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world?   A clearly mystical or unearthly realm
A world full of light, only light

Did time seem to speed up or slow down?   Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning
When the life drama was occurring, it felt like just a blink of time but I could understand things in depth.  When I was surrounded by light, it felt like eternity.

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything?   No

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?   No
Perhaps I reached the boundary when my soul nearly left my body due to strong vibration.

Did you come to a border or point of no return?   No

Did scenes from the future come to you?  No  

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness suggesting that there either is (or is not) continued existence after earthly life (�life after death�)?   No   

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that God or a supreme being either does (or does not) exist?   Yes   I clearly understood that the light radiating love for all the things is �God�.  It was exactly how Dr. David R Hawkins depicted God in his book.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that you either did (or did not) exist prior to this lifetime?   No   

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that a mystical universal connection or unity/oneness either does (or does not) exist?   Yes   When I was surrounded by light, I felt the love for everything.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding earthly life�s meaning or purpose?   Yes   

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding earthly life�s difficulties, challenges, or hardships?   No   

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding love?   Yes   Love of light

During your experience, did you encounter any other specific information / awareness that you have not shared in other questions that is relevant to living our earthly lives?   No   

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge or purpose?   No   

What occurred during your experience included:   Content that was entirely not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience   Until then, I did not know what �God�, �love�, �peacefulness�, �truth� really meant.  Now I understand them through my experience.

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience?   I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience   

Discuss any changes that might have occurred in your life after your experience:   Prior to my NDE and 3 years after NDE, I had had steroid treatment but currently I am on homeopathic treatment. (not using steroid any more). 

It has been over a year since I started homeopathy and my condition dramatically improved which took even my doctor by surprise.

After the experience, I can understand the religious scriptures better than before.  I often read scriptures of Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity.

My experience directly resulted in:   Large changes in my life

Did you have any changes in your values or beliefs after the experience that occurred as a result of the experience?   Yes   I used to look for the cure of my illness in medicine and material things.

After I realized the truth, I ask God to help me in life, future, disease etc.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience?   No   

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you?     That I was surrounded by the light

Have you ever shared this experience with others?   Yes  I shared my story with my close friends who happened to be a Buddhist monk and also who were into spirituality.           

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?  Yes   All I could think of was the movie Dai Rei Kai (spirit world) of Mr.Tetsuro Tanba but my experience was quite different.

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:   Experience was definitely real   What I experienced was exactly the same as how Dr. David R Hawkins depicted �God� in his book, so I could instantly come to believe that I met God.

I was convinced that �God�s love� is the ultimate reality.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience at the current time:   Experience was definitely real   As I read more religious scriptures of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism etc, I became more convinced of the reality of my experience.

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?   No   

Have your religious beliefs/spiritual practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?   Yes   As my interest increased, I started understanding difficult religious scriptures with easy.

I did not pray for God before but now I do.

At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience?   Yes   In my prayer, sometimes I feel the same love that I felt during my experience.

Is there anything else that you would like to add about your experience?   No.

Did the questions asked and information that you provided accurately and comprehensively describe your experience?   Uncertain   You do a great job.  I believe that there is some connection between mystical experience and NDE, so I would like more research done on this topic.  Thank you.
