Experience description:   

I saw myself sleeping in my bed from an observation point at the ceiling of my bedroom. Between the observation point and my body in bed was a thin silver lining. I looked at myself sleeping, and all seemed normal. After a short time, I (=the observation point) went through the house, and I was hovering some 10 meters over the roof. The silver line was there, it went through the house to my body. Shortly thereafter I went over Helsinki, and admired city lights on a clear, dark August night. After a short time I went over South Finland and saw the lights of cities. Quickly thereafter I kept on going higher, until I was in space and saw curvature of the earth. Silver line was in place all the time. There I stopped and started wondering: I am in space, but do not feel cold, no hunger, no thirst, I can move around without legs... what am I? Who can behave like this? God can! Have I become God? God knows everything, do I? I then posted two questions. The answer came back before I could finish the questions. The questions were: Was president Kennedy honest and patriotic in all that he did? The answer: Yes. The same question regarding Soviet Union's leader Chrutshow, The answer: Yes. I became very excited: I know everything! But then, I started going back down. I would not have wanted to. Above the roof of my house I could break with my will power for a while, but just for a while. Then I went through the building to the ceiling of my bedroom, and saw my body sleeping. I still tried very hard to resist going back, but could not. I zoomed in back to my body, and my body exploded up like I would have got an electricity chock.

Before: I had never heard or read of anything like this. 

After: I became interested in these things. I learned the silver lining represents life, and if it breaks during the experience, I die. At first I wanted this to repeat the experience, but when I understood that breaking the silver lining means death, I became scared of this happening again. I know feel very privileged of having been fully enlightened for a while and a part of the universal consciousness.

At the time of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?   No 

Was the experience difficult to express in words?  No    

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    At the point where I observed curvature of earth.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?      More consciousness and alertness than normal   I felt I was a part of the universal consciousness, free from time and place.

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   Vision was there, as quite normal, but not so important. More important was being a part of universal spirit, that does need senses like vision or hearing

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   I heard nothing, I did not need to! All relevant info came to me without hearing, or seeing.

Did you see or hear any earthly events that were occurring during a time that your consciousness / awareness was apart from your physical / earthly body?   No   I did not need to see or hear, because I knew everything with our seeing or hearing.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?   First, business as usual. Then wondering what is happening? Then joy of becoming or being part of a universal spirit. Then reluctance to return to my body.  

Did you pass into or through a tunnel?   No   tunnel, because I was in good health and life was supported by the silver lining.

Did you see an unearthly light?   No   Just normal lights, as seen from space.

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?   I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin
I became a part of the universal spirit!

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)?   Yes   President Kennedy and Mr. Chrutshow. I felt I was part of all beings, but had only time during my short visit to encounter with these two.

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings?   Yes   President Kennedy and Mr. Chrutshow.

Did you become aware of past events in your life during your experience?   Yes   Moral of President Kennedy and Mr. Chrutshow.

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world?   A clearly mystical or unearthly realm
I became part of the universal spirit.

Did time seem to speed up or slow down?   Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning
Time became irrelevant, all info was there at once.

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything?   Everything about the universe
Very strongly I understood everything.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?   Yes
Space... curvature of earth... silver lining...

Did you come to a border or point of no return?   I came to a barrier that I was not permitted to cross; or was "sent back" against my will
The silver lining was life in my experience.

Did scenes from the future come to you?  No 
If I would have "asked" for them, I think that he scenes would have appeared.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness suggesting that there either is (or is not) continued existence after earthly life (�life after death�)?   Yes   after death I become part of the universal spirit

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that God or a supreme being either does (or does not) exist?   Yes   God is the universal spirit

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that you either did (or did not) exist prior to this lifetime?   No  

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that a mystical universal connection or unity/oneness either does (or does not) exist?   Yes   very much so, I became part of the universal oneness in my experience.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding earthly life�s meaning or purpose?   Uncertain   The biggest difficulty for most people is being unaware of what happens after death. Those few who been shown what is on the other side, are privileged individuals.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding earthly life�s difficulties, challenges, or hardships?   Uncertain   The biggest difficulty for most people is being unaware of what happens after death. Those few who been shown what is on the other side, are privileged individuals.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding love?   Uncertain   Awareness of everything and everybody compares to love in some way, but how, that did not become clear to me.

During your experience, did you encounter any other specific information / awareness that you have not shared in other questions that is relevant to living our earthly lives?   No  

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge or purpose?   Yes   I knew everything! The feeling of knowing everything was absolutely over whelming, The question or purpose was irrelevant.

What occurred during your experience included:   Content that was entirely consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience   See above question 2.

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience?   I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience   I remember every detail of it, it is hard-carved to my body.

Discuss any changes that might have occurred in your life after your experience:   Hard to say... I was so young when this happened that it kind of became part of me when growing up.

Did you have any changes in your values or beliefs after the experience that occurred as a result of the experience?   Yes   I now believe in God.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience?   Yes   I sometimes know what is going to happen.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you?     Having been a part of the Great Spirit is fantastic!

Have you ever shared this experience with others?   Yes  It took some 30 years before I shared this for the first time. Reactions were jealous or happy on my behalf. Positive and somewhat curious.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?   No   Nothing, what so ever.

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:   Experience was definitely real   Real... but in a different way. Being awake, being asleep and dreaming, hallucinating... none of these. This is a new dimension, where the word "real" is closest to what is was, but it is still inaccurate.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience at the current time:   Experience was definitely real   The "reality" of the experience has not changed at all over the years. I now better understand what is was, so in that sense it has become even more "real".

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?   Yes   I feel extremely strong companionship with people, who have been outside their body. Even when in TV, I feel like knowing exactly what they are talking about.

Have your religious beliefs/spiritual practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?   Yes   I now believe in God.

At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience?   Yes   a few times a much shorter outside my body -experience.

Is there anything else that you would like to add about your experience?   No.
