Walter L's Experience
|
Experience description:
One evening I sat on
the steps in front of our house in Cameroon and thought:
I would like to really
understand what Albert Einstein meant with his theory of relativity.
What does it mean?
How can you bring this
to mind?
Suddenly I found myself
in 'another dimension'.
I saw a light, whose
appearance reminds me strongly of pictures coming from today's space telescopes
about star nebula (Andromeda).
It was as if I was
floating in space.
And I said to myself:
It's so beautiful.
There was a loving
warmth emanating from this light. And it became totally clear to me, that we are
all One.
It was also completely
clear, that we know EVERYTHING.
And it was completely
clear to me, that there is no time - it is not existing (there).
And it is love, that is
connecting us all.
When I realized the
situation, I wanted to know and experience more. And when I wanted to begin
asking questions, it was over and I found myself back in my body on the steps at
the porch of our house.
I called my wife, who
was in the house and wanted to tell her immediately everything what I
experienced. And there I realized painfully, that our human words and the
available vocabulary are totally inadequate to narrate my experience, even only
approximately.
Over the years I
thought, that I simply had the occasion/chance to look 'over' into the other
dimension.
And when I, like I
said, wanted to dig deeper and wanted to ask questions about all this, I found
myself back in my human body.
More consciousness in
the sense, that I knew clearly, that we are all One, that we know Everything,
and that there is no time.
About this experience
I'm totally conscious and it was also totally clear.
Where I was, everything
was totally clear there, there were no secrets and everybody knows everything.
We all know everything
We are all One.
There is no time.
And the most important
is love.
Although I quit church
I still believed in a 'higher institution'.
I think that this
'higher institution' allowed to me a look 'over there'.
And as it was so very
difficult to describe in human words, the words I used to describe this event,
and even today describe it, remained the same over the decades.
This is also one of the
reasons why this event was kept more clear in memory as many other things of my
life.
The questions
concerning my religious/spiritual life are difficult to answer for me, as since
my experience I realized, that churches for the main part are manipulating
people. They have nothing in common with the real 'higher institution'.
My experience directly
resulted in:
Large changes in my
life
I no more consider
myself as so important.
My fellow men are
important for me.
Later with other
people.
I kept it within
limits, as I felt, that many people couldn't cope with this experience,
respectively turned it into ridicule.
Nevertheless it is
difficult to classify this experience, as it happened the first time. More
experience is lacking.
All in all, I stick to
it: It was entirely real.
My experience has
convinced me that ALL churches do just fool us. All they want is power and our
money.
They don't even get
close to what they are trying to preach us.
I am very much
convinced that many of those who initiated a believe / church did have some
experience like NDE but failed terribly to make people understand what they had
experienced.
What could a national
organization with an interest in near death experience (NDE) do that would be of
interest to you?
Those organizations/ or
responsible people, national and international, should understand, that what we
humans are doing on this planet, is something that is so immature and stupid,
that it baffles description. We are handling this planet, as if we had a second
one in reserve flying behind us. To claim that there is something like
intelligent life on our planet, I consider as greatly exaggerated.
At the time of
your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?
No
Was the
experience difficult to express in words?
Yes
Our human
words and our vocabulary are totally inadequate to depict this experience, even
approximately.

what time during the experience were you at your highest level of
consciousness and alertness?
As I was
catapulted so abruptly in this situation (dimension), I realized it only
gradually.
How did your
highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to
your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?

alertness than normal
Please compare
your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had

Over the
years a distinct sense of responsibility developed.
Did you have any changes in your values or beliefs after the experience that
occurred as a result of the experience?
Yes
I have not
much interest in material things. When, due to my job, I however can afford
things that I couldn't in the past, and that I would rather classify in the
category of "luxury", then I also can laugh about myself.
Do you have any
psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did
not have before the experience?

Uncertain
I had heard
about it, but didn't have a closer deal with it.

believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it
happened:
Experience was definitely real
It was definitely no
dream. It was much too real for this.

lifetime you are making a lot of experiences. In retrospect I can still define
my experience as absolutely real.

Yes
Since many
years I am concerned extensively with quantum physics and the consequences for
our life and our understanding of our world.
