Experience description:

A couple of days after I tried to gas myself in my car it was night time I was in bed trying to sleep but I was feeling so down ,I was not in a good place , I felt that I just wanted to die

I have always preyed a bit but not in a religious way , I could not sleep in my head I was saying help me god please help me or take me away from this place , all of a sudden a white light appeared but not a light as in a electric light it was a light that penetrated into my body, which became me in away with this there where immense sensations running through me I was in the light or the light in me the sensation s of pure love it felt so beautiful it kind of devoured me in a feeling of pure love  but much more then that I don't think there are words in our vocabulary that can describe it if you are a religious person I suppose you could say that it was as if I had been touched by God it only lasted about 2 or 3 minutes  then I slept when I woke I felt everything had been lifted off my shoulders I felt like a new person no depression  I felt good again did not take long to get back on my feet.  I do believe this will never happen again until the day I die , I have read some of the NDE experiences and the sensation of light and feelings of pure love are prominent in many stories ,  also meeting people family or friends that have died , also being spoke to , but I had nothing like that it was all sensations I kind of think that because I was so down and in a bad place that God decided to touch my hand .

How can I put this surrounded by this light and you was part of it , I kind of imagine it would be the first place you would enter when you die I had thoughts of nothing , like I was in the now , it was so consuming , no thought of time

I felt like I was part of it in spirit or mind perhaps

What occurred during your experience included:   Content that was both consistent and not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience   Well I d I have always believed in some type of God and I do believe there is life after death maybe physical maybe spiritual  and perhaps if I did not believe in a god I may not be here now , ,if I did not believe in a god I imagine the experience I had would not have occurred

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience?   I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience   Well it's about 18 yes ago a lot of stuff that was going on in my life at time I've shut out of my life  , but the NDE if we are going to call it that is still vivid

Discuss any changes that might have occurred in your life after your experience:   Not a lot of changes , I am older sister In hope I am more into spiritual religion , like I believe we are all part of God god is nature , the universe , all the world is god we are linked to god , people should look inwards for god not in the sky
