A brief period of time passed, my "spirit" floated out of my body by way of the top of my head. It seemed to hover above my body. I could clearly see all of my surroundings ,including my body laying at rest. I thought of where I wanted to be and I was there. There was no travel time or so it seemed. No tunnels, lights or anything. When I arrived at my destination I seemed to float above everything. I could clearly see everyone, I remember their clothing and an old trunk sitting in the middle of the floor. I thought being back and at once I was there, no travel time again. I then found myself floating above my body only to realize that I didn't know how to get back into it. After almost freaking, I thought real hard about being back in my body and I shut my eyes of my spirit and I was in.  Now, I was real confused as to if this happened or my imagination was wild. I then got up and called my friend, who was at the house I visited.

She was 750 miles from me and calling me a liar. I had her to return my phone call to prove that I was where I said I was at. She about fainted when she heard my voice on the phone. She ask me how I did this and I replied that I wasn't sure. That's the thick of it. I went to our preacher and ask how was this possible? He replied that my spirit was the only protector of my body and if there were any evil spirits around they could enter my body while I was absent and when I returned that I would have to co-habit my body with them. I haven't had the balls to try it anymore!

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?          Yes, I was smoking really good grass.

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           very high, very alert.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   No

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes     I don't remember seeing my body that was outside of regular body.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            Just regular feelings ,nothing un-ordinary .

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           I don't remember.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?    No

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes     I saw everyone that was in the house that I went to.

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state? No      

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          Yes     Yes, I called the people at the house that I went to. I described the ones in the house, what they were wearing, and the old trunk in the middle of the floor. She accused me of looking in her window. She explained the trunk had just been brought inside the house a few minutes before that call.

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?          No       I only remember seeing.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Uncertain      I'm not sure what you mean.

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       I know the spirit can leave the body and come back. I feel that the spirit will leave the body when it dies, then I don't know.

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  I felt good.  Surprised.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      Not knowing how to get back into my body was bad. The trip itself I enjoyed.

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         Yes     I overdosed on drugs a time later and felt my spirit leave my body. I looked down at my crumpled up body and thought I had just killed myself. I went back inside my body and got up off the floor. I believe I had divine help with that one.
