Tilda H's Experience
|
Experience description:
I was
trying to go back to sleep but I wasn't tired. I guess I fell asleep because I
was laying there listening to the noise around me. I could hear the TV or a
radio playing in the other room or maybe it was coming from my dresser. I opened
my eyes when I heard it say saying about Arkansas and the hogs. I looked around
my room and everything was just like it was when I went to sleep except for the
reflection of a Spiderman costume in the mirror that is propped up beside my
dresser. I knew I was dreaming then. I didn't panic I just wanted to wake up. I
was trying so hard to wake up. I didn't know if the noise I was hearing was
coming from my dream or my life. I got out of bed and looked down at my body
still laying there. I walked to the door to find the noise realized it must be
coming from my dresser and my dream. I wanted to wake up. I walked back to the
bed and knelled down beside myself. I was looking at my body still lying there
mostly covered up except part of my arm and some hair. I was in fetal position
and not moving. It didn't scare me I just reached over and wanted to hold
myself. I was still fighting to wake up when I crawled back under the blanket
and back into my body. I was screaming 'Wake up, Wake up!' over and
over. I could feel how dry my mouth was and it was making it hard to scream or
even talk. I thought to myself after I was almost back in my body go to him, go
find Jeremey. He is in the kitchen at work unloading boxes. I knew right where
he was and what he was doing all I needed to do was fly to him. I kept thinking
to myself 'go to him' but I couldn't. I laid under the blanket and looked up.
Maybe Arkansas is too far to fly to in a dream I thought but I had to try. I was
thinking about him. I heard the buzz of a fly and it annoyed me. I looked up and
saw the shadow of a spider crawling over the top of my blanket. I remember
thinking the fly was there because of the spider and flies eat spiders! I pulled
the blanket tighter around me and gave up going to Arkansas. I just wanted to
wake up now. Screaming 'wake up' wasn't working so I started screaming 'help me'
I must have screamed it five times before I finally screamed loud enough to wake
myself up. It has never taken me so long to wake myself up from a dream and when
I woke up my eyes were jumpy and my head a little out of sort. I held myself in
that dream. I know I left my body and that's crazy.
