TC's Experience
|
Experience description:
I
went to bed for the night. My bedroom door was slightly opened to let in light
and sound from my parents watching TV. I got comfortable on my back and gently
placed my attention in-between my eyebrows. It felt like a natural thing to
do. Then I felt myself out of my body floating upwards. I went to the corner
ceiling of my bedroom and felt I couldn't continue because of the ceiling and
wall of the house. I turned around, looked around my bedroom, saw the light
coming in through my bedroom door and heard the TV. I moved closer to the
person sleeping in the bed and saw myself. Being startled brought me instantly
back into my body. I lied awake, realizing I had just left my body and how easy
it was and that everything I had been told was true. I have not been afraid of
death since. I've had many out of body experiences since and I know when I
leave my body, this shell, a world of light and love awaits me.

Yes I knew I was out of my body and that it was possible . I knew I made it
happen.
What occurred during your experience included:
Content that was entirely consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of
your experience everything was consistent with my beliefs including my belief
I couldn't go through walls and ceilings therefore creating a physical boundary
even though I was not physical at the time and had my belief extended to going
through wall as a ghost might of, possibly my experience would of been
different. Perhaps the experience of going beyond my bedroom wasn't necessary
at the time
How
accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events
that occurred around the time of the experience?
I
remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred
around the time of the experience It changed my life direction, it stood out.
It changed my beliefs. I became a seeker and with time got all my answers to
the meaning of life and laws of life.
Discuss any changes that might have occurred in your life after your
experience:
comment: I not afraid of death but I am fearful of pain and suffering...dying is
the easy part
My experience directly resulted in:
Large changes in my life
Did you have any changes in your values or beliefs after the experience that
occurred as a result of the experience?
Yes I am not my body and mind. I can leave anytime if I choose to have an out
of body experience. We are all the same and connected. There are many states
of consciousness and many worlds to explore. I am more giving, I choose love
over power, I understand why people suffer and why traumatic events happen, and
so much more
Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful
or significant to you?
Like
the saying goes, I am a spiritual being having a physical experience. We are
Soul, we don't have a soul (who is the we that has a soul?) We are a spark of
energy that moves out of our bodies willingly when we rememeber we can or it
happens to us when we shock or damage our physical bodies.
Do
you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience
that you did not have before the experience?
Yes I am more aware (physic) I can sense when a loved one is going to die. I
am more empathic. I sense the emotions of others more deeply
Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful
or significant to you?
Like
the saying goes, I am a spiritual being having a physical experience. We are
Soul, we don't have a soul (who is the we that has a soul?) We are a spark of

Have you ever shared this experience with others?
Yes
I had the experience at 16 and talked about within the year of having it. I
spoke to those who would understand and they gave me books to explain the
experience. I never looked back
Did
you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your
experience?
Yes A cousin told me about other planes of existance and being able to leave
the body to explore these worlds. He didn't tell me how. I figured that on my
own with the "remembering" moment
What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to
weeks) after it happened:
Experience was definitely real
What do you believe about the reality of your experience at the current time:
Experience was definitely real
Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?
Yes
more
loving, understanding, compassionate. I see them as Soul having an experience
and growing and learning
Have your religious beliefs/spiritual practices changed specifically as a result
of your experience?
Yes
I
see a common thread in all religions and spiritual beliefs...that of love.
People choose the religious experience they feel comfortable with. Its the path
of love that matters. Rituals brings comfort to those who need it and comfort
bring love...its all going in the right direction
At
any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the
experience?
Yes When I go into contemplation (meditation), or daydream, or dream at night
I always leave my body and some experiences are incredible...full of love,
brilliant light and exquisite sounds
Did
the questions asked and information that you provided accurately and
comprehensively describe your experience?
Yes
What could a national organization with an interest in near death experience
(NDE) do that would be of interest to you?
change the near death experience to an out of body experience. Soul leaves the
body under all kinds of experiences...the death part makes it sound like leaving
the body has to be under painful circumstances. It gives it a "bad rap" when in
fact it is a beautiful experience to actively seek out :)
Please offer any suggestions that you may have to improve this questionnaire.
Are there any other questions that we could ask to help you communicate your
experience?
It was a fun questionnaire and I am truly grateful you are doing the scientific
proof route for those doubting our true nature. The scientist all over the
world are starting to uncover truth and that's wonderful. Thank you!
