Then one day, the left side of my head began to tingle when I had any unkind thought about anyone...but the tingle is so incredibly powerful that I believe you should be able to measure it somehow. It feels literally like how it appears to feel when a cat's hair stands on end.  There must be a very strange vibration or energy in the area that tingles.  It is far stronger than goose bumps.  The tingle is stronger depending on how strong the unkind thought is. 

This effect has been with me now for over 10 years and without fail, my head will tingle in given situations.  I can evoke this response at will by thinking of things, or by seeing certain images. 

The reason I think this is a significant psychic event is the way that it just BAM suddenly appeared in my life after praying for it consistently for so long.  Something popped open between me and my higher self with this head tingling thing.  It is like a little inner electric fence I have, so that I will always know when I'm crossing the line into unkind and unloving areas of thought.  This was the goal I was seeking at the time I was praying for this.  I had no idea it would turn up the way it did. 

It is not as reliable, but the right side of my head does have some beginnings of similar tingles, when I think of or hear of things that are glorious or joyous.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?   No   

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words?   No   

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?   No   

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?   Totally awake and alert.

Was the experience dream like in any way?   No, but it was very incredible the first time.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?   No  

What emotions did you feel during the experience?    At first, confusion...but then amazement as I realized this is what I had prayed about.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?    Just the incredible head tingle.                

Did you meet or see any other beings?    Yes    This tingle is a direct "answer" from some kind of higher being whom I had been praying to.                                                                             

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?    My experience has affected my life every day.  I found out that I had quite a few unkind thoughts about people, and that this wasn't serving me well at all.  Since I cannot have harsh thoughts about other people without that loud warning signal of my head tingling and literally bristling, I now know how to back away from thoughts like that.  This has changed my life enormously.
