Experience description:

After having a good evening with my uncle Russ, dad and brother they left and I fell asleep for the evening...I awoke in the early morning, daybreak hour and as I awoke, I said to myself...."oh my god I am dead, but how can that be all I did was fall asleep, but I feel so good"....that is when I felt his presence in the room. He was behind the bed, on the ceiling , on the floor, he filled the whole room....it was love that was in the room, I could feel him but not see him, and I began to get scared for I could not see him....I heard a sparrow chirping outside my window and it sounded indescribably beautiful...now I had heard many sparrows chirp but in the presence of love, or god, it was different...again I began to get scared for I saw no one, just felt the presence of love...I began to whisper the word god, softly at first and I progressed till I was hollering god at the top of my lungs...I nurse comes running in, grabs my shoulders and ask if I'm ok she asked twice...my response to her was...you wouldn't believe me if I told you...love left the room ....two weeks later my brother comes to the hospital and tells me the night before my  NDE, my granny was killed in a car wreck...we were so very close to each other, I told my brother that is why it happened

At the time of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?   Yes  the 1st surgery failed...then they had to do an emergency surgery to remove the kidney....the NDE happened 3 days after the 2nd surgery

Was the experience difficult to express in words?  Yes     its like moving but never using a muscle....love penetrated everything

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    hearing the sparrow chirping

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?      More consciousness and alertness than normal   the spirit was on its most sensitive mode

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:   Experience was definitely real   my dad thought it was medication...he couldn't understand the fear I felt...and then I found out when our lord appears his first words are... fear not
