The vibration just kept building and building until Snap! I was at my ceiling flipping end over end! The next thought was get back in there and as quickly as it had happened; It was over. Back in my body my first thought was wow its just laying here so peacefully. Then I was a bit frightened. Frightened by my oblivious distinction between Myself and my body. 

At the time, I hadn't read a single thing on O.B.E. Astrology...yes, numerology.....yes, some Tarot, but nothing on O.B.E. I fell asleep that night, and woke up the next day to start a new search.  A search for what had gone on the previous night.  The memory surfaced the next afternoon as I was riding in the car with my best friend.  Oddly enough we were on our way to this house in the country that was said to be haunted. It had been rumored that a man killed his family there. I still don't know if that is true. I got about as far as the drive and couldn't go near the house. I don't know why, but I couldn't that day.  We went back months later with a large group of people this time at night.  I wasn't comfortable from the start, but after I came out of the house my eyes burned and watered for about 10min., until we left.  Everyone thought I was crying, but I wasn't. 

Anyway, the day I couldn't go, on the way home it hit me what had happened the night before. I tried explaining the vibrations at that point and could only describe it as an electrical feeling.  She mentioned O.B.E. I immediately went to Barnes and Noble and found a book. As soon as I read about the vibration I knew I had found.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?  No.     

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words?  Yes.  Besides that there are very few people in which to even begin to talk to about something like this, even when you do find a trusted friend (who believes you) they simply can't identify with what they have not experienced. Which is understandable.  I've yet to meet anyone that shares my experience.

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?    No.     

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?  Complete

Was the experience dream like in any way?  The dog was the only nonphysical reality. Everything else was as I knew it to "Be"

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?  Yes.   I've never seen myself

What emotions did you feel during the experience?  Freedom!

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises? I have

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations familiar from religious teachings ie. Heaven, Hell, Hades, etc.?  Did you encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?  No

Did you see a light?  No. 

Did you meet or see any other beings?  No.  Only 1human, 3dogs.

Did you experiment while out body or in another altered state?  For example did you attempt to visit a family member or friend at another location?  Did you eyewitness an event that you would not have known about had you not been out of body?  Did you attempt to move a physical object while in the astral/etheric universe?  Yes

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?  Uncertain.  The dog thing throws me.

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?  No Response.  The Vibration

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?  Yes.  I knew for certain that we don't die; only our bodies do.

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices etc.? Career choices?  Yes

What was the best and worst part of your experience?  Best part was I decided after it spontaneously occurring, I was going to do it and control it and I did! Worst part is I don't know why.

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?  I'm ever evolving and do realize this is all part of my experience.  I only hope that someday I will realize my potential and be able to utilize this gift. It came to me. I didn't ask for it. There must be a reason? I can't see the full picture just yet. Sometimes I'm impatient.
