Shyam's Experience
|
Experience description:
ON
Saturday morning Jan 27th, since its a weekend I thought I will sleep for some
more time. (Normally I don't sleep on bed since it gives me back pain, and so I
put a comforter, foam and cotton blanket and make my bed and sleep on it) After
7. 30, I changed my direction of sleep and kept my head on the North-eastern
side near the place where I have kept God. I like sleeping at the foot of
Krishna for some unknown reasons. I don't
know still if its dream or real time happening. I am sleeping in the same pose
everything same and I am dreaming within the dream state. I hear my mother and
dad talking in the kitchen in that dream's dream and I was partially awake to
tell myself, how it is possible to have my parents here when they are in India.
So I was telling myself and woke up and see the digital clock that shows the
time as 9.22 (AM) and in that semi conscious state I could hear the voice of my
mom, and so to confirm that I was dreaming, I was calling her and as there was
no response, I woke up and stood to see the things around to confirm further
that I was in dream state and I also told myself, oh its just a dream and not
real. Then I turn around to fold my blanket and shocked to see my own body lying
on the bed in front of me. I was surprised and shocked and was wondering how
that could be possible when I am literally standing and also confirmed that my
parents came in my dream and not real anymore. Then in that shock, I suddenly
realized that something happened either to me or my parents and closed my eyes
and with folded hands standing in front of my body, I called Krishna Krishna
Krishna three times. (Everyday morning when I wake up, the first word I utter
is always Krishna and every night when I go to sleep I say His name which is my
habitual nature since my young age). Then after I uttered the name three
times, in a fraction of the moment, the standing body of me, merged with the
sleeping body and I actually felt that kind of jolt in my real time sleep and
woke up with palpitation and sweat with a shock from the real sleep to see
myself in the same direction and angle and my hands and legs in the same angle
as how I saw myself from outside. When I checked the digital clock it was
showing the time as 9.24. (AM). Does it mean The two minutes between 9.22 and
9.24 was I standing outside to see myself? It did not feel like a regular
dream since I never had this kind of experience and in none of my dreams, I
have seen myself. The only confirmation tentatively to me was the clock time
and of course the sunlight and all other things in my room that appeared the
same to my remembrance both in the sleep state and in conscious state at both
the times. I got
really frightened and I am not even an older person by any means, nor
unhealthy. I don't smoke, don't take alcoholic drinks even socially, pure
vegetarian and I work out in gym at least a minimum of 3 to 4 times a week and
have a good and healthy body and mind. This experience scared me, but I am
still happy, that even in that state, I was able to call Krishna and that's the
only peace of mind.
