Experience description:

it was dark out. was a short distance away from the grave, I was aware that I was watching this happen. I saw myself get up out of my body. what I saw getting out of my body was gray and not solid. but more a gray body shaped air. I was lying on my side my body was lying on my husbands grave. as I was getting out of my body I could hear big Dougie saying, "wake up man. you gotta go back. it ain't your time yet shel." as I lay unconscious on his grave, the part of me that left wandered aimlessly around the cemetery trying to find my way out. I was surprised to find that I somehow had found my way back to his grave. it seemed as though I was settling back into my body when I heard him saying, "there is a tar road right there. get up and go over there. the first tar road that goes across it, keep on going straight. the next tar road you come to look up and you will be at the gate. I was in my body, I was barely conscious, I looked up and there was the gate. I started walking, I felt like someone was pulling me along. I kept trying to go back to the comfort of passing out. every once in a while I would find myself being pushed up against the wall, my back against the wall and someone holding onto me holding me up then I would be unaware until I again was pushed up against a wall or pole. I was lying on the floor in the living room. I heard myself saying tell that man to get out of here, I'm tired of seeing him walk back and forth. a shadow man then looked at me and looked startled and was gone that quick. I was saying and seeing this as I was getting back into my body, I then had a vague sense of my children being there. the next time I awoke I was in the hospital. I don't know if shadow is a good word because the form was light gray, 3d yet had no mass?!

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Yes     I took an overdose.

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           not the best and yet clear

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   not really. because I knew I was not dreaming.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes    

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            tired. confused, I had to put forth great effort to respond to big Dougie when all I really wanted to do was rest.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           seeing myself see myself getting out of another myself. was pretty unusual

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?    No

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes     I did not see big Dougie but heard him talking to me and I don't know how I new but he was walking me home, holding me up. I could not see him but physically felt him whenever I returned to my body, or maybe it was when I was leaving. or both
