Ryan M's Experience
|
Experience description:
I had been
trying to have an O.B.E. for quite some time, probably for about 2 years to no
avail. I was trying to have an experience because a loved one had recently died
and I was attempting to verify that there was indeed another state of existence
away from one's body. In the past, I slipped away from my body slightly when I
woke up in the morning while in a groggy and sleepy state, but it is just
recently that I had an experience that will forever change my life. I was
meditating on the floor for over an hour when all of a sudden I slipped out of
my body. The moment I slipped out I heard a loud buzzing sound and vibration
that enveloped me.
I first looked
around the room and realized I was floating about 5 ft. above my body. My room
looked clearer than what my normal vision usually viewed and this surprised me
considering I have 20/20. Then suddenly, I felt myself being involuntarily
sucked upward and through my roof. I could feel every atom of my roof as I
passed through it. This feeling was amazing to say the least. As I shot upward
at an incredible speed, the view of the land getting smaller and smaller
suddenly disappeared altogether and was replaced with an immense brightness.
This brightness lasted for what seemed to be about 30 seconds (although I'm not
totally sure) and was replaced by a glowing ball of white light that was
suspended in air. I could see a bright crystal looking city behind it as it
gently pulsated with what seemed like white-light energy. I could feel immense
love and joy radiating from the ball of light and I was involuntarily soaking
this love and joy up like a sponge.
The feeling of
being in the presence of this light was so calming and beautiful. I wondered
for a moment if I had died somehow. Not even a moment after I had pondered
whether or not I was dead, the ball of light responded that my body was intact
and that it would be where I had left it when I return. It communicated to me
telepathically, so the answer did not need time to be communicated and
translated by a brain, it was instead instantly known. As I floated in this
being's presence viewing the brilliant city behind it, it suddenly communicated
that it had brought me here for a reason. It said that it knew I had been
trying to access its "dimension" as it put it, for quite some time. I simply
floated there in absolute astonishment not knowing what to think or do. It then
communicated to me that I need not worry about what would happen to me after
death because my existence is "perpetual" as it put it. It said that all
organic observers observe the universe perpetually forever and ever and that
non-observance is a universal anomaly. I could not and still cannot comprehend
this, but it is nonetheless what I was conveyed telepathically.
This being also
stated that my loved one that died, which was my grandmother I was very close
with, is existing in its dimension in happiness and is surrounded by love. I
was overwhelmingly happy to be given this news. After this statement, it said
that I should not be in its dimension for long if I wish to remember my
experience so it gave me the option of staying longer and forgetting everything
besides my emotional joy, or leaving and remembering what I had experienced in
detail. I chose to leave and as soon as my mind made that decision I was back
in my body and in my room. However, I was in a lying down position instead of
my original sitting up position that I was in when I left me body. This
experience gave me a sense of knowing that we exist after physical death and I
will forever be grateful for the being that allowed me to have this life
changing experience.
