Reuben T's Experience
|
Experience description:
In the
operating room were four people; the Surgeon, Anesthesiologist, surgical Nurse
and myself. After the anesthesiologist had put me under with sodium pentothal;
it seemed as if any time had lapsed until I was wide awake and was floating
upward toward the huge overhead light, the movement was very slow like floating.
I was in the prone position and just knew that light was going to blind me.
Remarkably the light didn't bother me at all. the most remarkable thing was how
light my body felt; lighter than a feather. The
surgical Nurse asked the Doctor how was he going to remove my tonsils; he said I
am going to enaskalate them. I thought to myself, I will remember that word; I
don't think I had ever heard the word enaskalate. I could look down
from my left side and observe and hear every word spoken. I noticed that I
could see through my hands and feet, so I had to examine the rest of my body.
The size of my body had not changed except that it looked like a form of
transparent energy. I could
see my body on the operating table and it was hard to believe that it was me;
because I was up at the overhead light. The conversation below changed to the
doctor being an atheist; the doctor said he did not believe in an after life, he
beloved that we come here live, died and that was all there is. The nurse and
anesthesiologist said they would not let him operate on them under any
circumstances, they badgered the doctor for the rest of time in the operating
room. One of the
things that had been bugging me was what happened to your spirit when you died
this worried me because I wanted to know if your spirit was buried with your
body or remained with your body till judgment day or what happened to it; This
question has never bothered me anymore. Very close to the end of this
operation, I slowly floated down to my body and reentered; as soon as I entered
my body I was out like a light. In the
recovery room I told the Surgical Nurse that I heard and watched the entire
operation from up near the overhead light and that I too did not know the doctor
was an atheist. she turned white as a sheet and I have not seen her since; she
did tell the doctor what I told her. In his office two weeks later he told me
what I had told the nurse. The doctors remarks was I have been telling these
nurses that these patients hear everything that is said in the operating room.
