Rob G's Experience
|
Experience description:
I went to
bed by myself around 10 PM. I turned off the light, got into bed on my back, and
closed my eyes. The curtains are thick, like in a motel room, and to the
left of my bed. The window is on the right side of its wall and corners the wall
that my bed faces (other wall). Light from a street light shines perfectly
through the right side (corner) of the window and shines on the far wall. After
my eyes dilate from the dark I can look around and see most objects in the room,
although dim. After
about ten minutes laying there with my eyes closed, I began experiencing a
bright, beautiful greenish/blue light. Almost like a dimmer, it took about ten
seconds to start from dark to a super bright light, although it didn't hurt my
eyes. My eyes are still closed! I then felt a presence in the light, a
very loving energy. I remained calm. I didn't move, yet in hindsight, I don't
think I even tried to move. I didn't want to scare the wonderful experience
away. Visually,
it was like I was surrounded by fog (nothing was distinguishable). The light
came from all directions. I experienced this for a couple minutes, and
then decided to open my eyes. When I opened my eyes, to my surprise, it wasn't
different. The light was the same, the feelings the same, no change. Like when
you're in a pitch black room where your vision is the same with your eyes open
or shut -- Black. Only I was a experiencing a very bright wonderful light. Another
couple minutes passed. I willingly waited for whatever was next, and almost as
fast as the light appeared -- it disappeared. I could then see my room. No more
light, but there where still an essence of the loving energy, but it too were
fading. I remained awake for at least a couple hours after the experience.
I even tried laying on my back again to see if it would come back, but it
didn't. No

No
What was your level of
consciousness and alertness during the experience?
I was very awake. Although first
thoughts might be that since I was going to bed that this was a dream, it

Not dreamlike at all, I was very
conscious, I actually pinched myself after the experience.
