Experience description:

I was working in a gas station, the 11pm to 7am shift.  At about midnight I look out the window and I see 4 Arian Nation members break the drivers side window out of a truck and start pulling a black man out of it to beat him up.  I ran out and started yelling and telling them to stop.  They looked at me but continued to try to pull the man out of his window.  I yelled that I was getting their plate number and calling the cops!  I saw them start running to their vehicle. I then began running inside the gas station.  I looked back and saw one of them running to me.  I ran through the door, turned around and he punches me in my left jaw.  I feel no pain at all, maybe a second of unsteadiness but I don't fall down at all.  He turns back around and realizes I didn't fall down from the punch to my face.  He comes at me again and punches me in my right jaw.  Mind you, this guy is early 20's, about 6 foot 2 inches, big muscles, shaved head, swastika and wife beater t shirt.  Once again, he connects with my jaw but I feel no pain and I take a step back but don't fall.  The man stares at me, dumbfounded, for a few minutes and then runs to their car and drives away.  There was a guy inside the gas station that stood  hiding at the front counter.  he couldn't speak for a few minutes and then asked me if I was in any type of pain or anything, he asked if I could feel the punches?  He was shocked and then ran out of the station and never returned.  He would stop by everyday after work before the incident.  Several cars had pulled up to watch but not one person helped.  Everyone was amazed and no one understood what happened

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words?          No     

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event? Uncertain     I was being attacked by a member of the Arian Nation group, he punched me twice on each side of my jaw.  Several of these members tried to remove a black man out if his truck by breaking his window and dragging him out.

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?    Totally conscious and alert

            Was the experience dream like in any way?  No

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?   Uncertain     In the sense that I did not feel any pain or even the need to fall down after either punch.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?          Fear, amazement, uncertainty, belief, Faith, gratitude

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?         No

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          Yes    Witnesses at the scene as it was occurring

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different? Yes    I was handling it perfectly and my mind was on high alert and sharp

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?  Yes    It was obvious to myself and I believe to everyone in the vicinity that something ethereal was happening.  The general consensus was that an angel had saved me.

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?         Yes    I felt special and safe
