Experience description:

I don’t know whether this would be class as an STE or SOBE, but either way this experience has stuck with me.

Before my full seizure I had been suffering from what I guess to be auras every night or sleep paralysis (I never had them formally diagnosed as little me failed to inform the doctors about them as I didn’t realize that may have been related.) This eventually led up to big seizure the age of 5 or 6 I had suffered my first full seizure in my parents bedroom, which I count myself lucky I had it in there as I had thrown up during it, but my mum help me get into the right position to prevent injury. Fortunately, due to my parents quick actions and the fact we live near a nursing home we had first response come immediately. I talked to this one first response who due to the experience I remember lots about his appearance despite the amount of confusion I was suffering from after the seizure. I was telling him the best I could about my experience though my responses were limited and showed clear confusion. It was clear I wasn’t doing well I remember the confused look on his face as he did his best to smile to comfort me. Despite my extremely confused state my memory turned clearer when I suddenly popped out of my body. I was rather chill overall about the whole thing, apart from the part I got a bit nifty over the fact my view out of my body was the doctors balding head (which I wouldn’t be see prior to him walking in the room. The exact moment I got nifty, I suddenly saw through him and saw myself awake and still chatting to the doctor. I then suddenly gained 360 vision where I saw the entire room. I remember noting where everyone was. My parents were in the hallway with one of the first respondents and one other being in the room with me noting everything down. I also sensed by siblings down the hall presumably curious on what was happening though never saw them only sensed. My mum then proceeded to take take out her phone but before anything else happened I heard a click and suddenly had visions of space and life in the best way possible to put it. I didn’t understand them when I returned to my body but I had an understanding in that moment. Suddenly, I returned to my body right after that and soon after I was taken to hospital not uttering a single word of my experience to them.
