Rami's Experience
|
Experience description:
I
was 16, went with 4 friends to a water park. After that we went swimming in this
big lake in Israel right outside of the water park.
All
us guys saw in a distance, like 300 meters away in the lake this floating buoy
and agreed to swim toward it and rest on it once we get there, since it was
quite far. I wasn't really in shape compared to my friends but we all made it to
the floating buoy, and once we all tried to rest on it after this long swim we
realized it cant support our weight and is sinking with even the slightest
weight we put on it. I kind of got worried, but my friends didn't seem to worry
much. They all started swimming back to shore and I was last, struggling with
this buoy just to give my muscles and body some rest before I swim back to shore
like my friends. I realized the struggling with the buoy is being really
helpful, since it kept sinking once I tried to hold it and float with it, so I
started swimming back to shore. Middle way I already felt my muscles are way too
tired to keep on with the swimming, and there were mild waves who made it harder
for me to swim.
I
saw all my friends from far, already drying themselves on the shore and tried
shouting for them to come help me. I was so exhausted that I could barely shout
properly and could see none of my friends are looking toward me or hearing me.
I
was so tired and started to panic, gave it a last push but it was too far.
In
some point my memory went blank, couldn't remember anything, and at a point it
came back in an instant and I found myself on the shore with the rest of my
friends. I was completely shocked yet thankful I wasn't dead for some reason I
could not remember or explain. I looked at my friends acting all normal like
nothing happened and it even amazed me more. I never talked to them about this
since I didn't know how they will react, was worried they will look at me like
an hallucinating crazy fool in my sub conscious I guess.
That's all.
Was
disproportionate to the intensity and impact of the accident. Was sure I'm going
to be much more messed up or even worst.

Nothing radical. I was young, was just shocked and couldn't explain to myself
how I stayed alive. Guess sub consciously was thanking god, was both shocked yet
