Going through a bone marrow transplant is a near death experience because the bone marrow is suppressed with high dose chemotherapy and I am susceptible for any infection leading to death. Though I had all the antibiotics etc given I developed a strong will to LIVE and used to see my wife and daughters photos which made me keep saying that I have a purpose to LIVE

This experience was so blissful and I faced the predicament with courage, hope, faith and trust.

Now I am on remission, grew in my career and my family has established themselves

I want to share my experiences to a larger group and share and add more smiles to all faces in the human mankind across geographies.

At the time of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?   Yes  I was diagnosed for Chronic myeloid leukemia in Feb 2004 and was under safe medication called Glivec but in Oct 2006 I suddenly took resistance to Glivec and my bone marrow went crazy without any symptom and was medically termed as Blast stage. Only solace was Bone marrow transplant and doctors clearly told me and my wife that they cannot guarantee life for me during BMT as success rate is very low

But with complete Hope Faith and trust in me, my family and almighty I went ahead with Bone Marrow transplant and came back to life and now living for last nine years on remission

Was the experience difficult to express in words?  No    

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    Yes I was complete aware and when my brother cells were entering me on the day of transplant, on November 6, 2006 all I keep saying was to my old cells that they should not fight with the donor cells, thanked them for taking care of me for last 38 years and unfortunately it was contaminated with leukemia and said to them to exit with peace and allow my healthy brother cells to manifest and make me a better healthy person

This resolved in months ahead where my blood group which was b- negative, became b+ positive.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?      More consciousness and alertness than normal   I kept focusing on my body and its cells and kept connecting to my inner self talking to me and my soul

I said it is my body which is affected whereas the mind and soul are not at all affected and this set a motion of positive thoughts and energy continuously flowing which supported with my prayers and recites of hymns.

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   It was blissful serene and a sense of wholeness was felt that I felt secured in the almighty hands and felt that he has shouldered my pains and allowing me to recoup

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   Hearing was normal but was hearing more of being at peace and not unrest or fear of any kind even death though was at a distance that thought of death never ever manifested not even a single time

Did you see or hear any earthly events that were occurring during a time that your consciousness / awareness was apart from your physical / earthly body?   Yes   saw a bright white light engulfing me and my room that night in the ward

What emotions did you feel during the experience?   secured safe and more bliss and courage to face the predicament  

Did you pass into or through a tunnel?   No  

Did you see an unearthly light?   Yes   a white light engulfed in my room in the ward that I was admitted  it came twice

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?   No

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)?   No  

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings?   No  

Did you become aware of past events in your life during your experience?   No  

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world?   No

Did time seem to speed up or slow down?   No

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything?   Everything about myself or others
I could be more connected with myself and kept echoing and telling myself of thanks to my old cells and allow new cells to work. This words kept on talking to itself in my deep conscience.

Did scenes from the future come to you?  No

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that God or a supreme being either does (or does not) exist?   Yes   my felt that light was from God who engulfed and protected me

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge or purpose?   Uncertain   am for sure know very well that my life and my testimony has a wider purpose but it is yet to unfold.

What occurred during your experience included:   Content that was entirely consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience   I knew that the almighty shall protect me and this glowing light was a strong evidence that I felt secured.

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience?   I remember the experience as accurately as other life events that occurred around the time of the ex   this can never be forgotten as it has a lasting impact and secured my belief in the ALL ABOVE THE GOD

Discuss any changes that might have occurred in your life after your experience:   Having seen death close by in form of my predicament during BMT, the confidence and motivation I can give to myself and others is tremendous and want to spread the word of HOPE, help one person everyday

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:   Experience was definitely real   The experience restored the Power Above that governs the entire universe and having a experience to feel it was superbly great

What do you believe about the reality of your experience at the current time:   Experience was definitely real   as many pitfalls have been experienced during the roller coaster ride of my life from then to now, I was assured that this experience made to have a shoulder and with that faith managed to lead a life against many turbulences that affected our family
