Phillip D's Experience
|
Experience description:
My
recollection was seeing in front of me a completely dark blacked out shape like
a (negative film) but solid form of British WW1 soldier (The helmet shape being
the only part distinguishable. This appearance was brief ,but I somehow knew
that the shape in front of me was myself. To the
right was what seemed like a huge explosion of light, that I took to be a bomb,
that probably killed me. I did not
think it strange that I should be remembering this event. Being about seven
years old, it seemed really natural even though this was the 1960's My mystery
question when I thought back on it when I was a little older was if this (bomb
/light) had killed me why did I remember this light to be the most beautiful all
encompassing thing I had ever seen or felt before or since. I am now
53 years of age. Some years later at the age of about 13/14 while on a school
trip I had not slept for two nights and was extremely fatigued had fallen asleep
awkwardly on a chair, I found what seemed like I was transported back to the
trenches of WW1. I was nudged awake by somebody and I tried to relate the
strange fact that although asleep this was real not like a dream, but almost
immediately I dropped off again and returned to the same place only this time I
was in mid air about 20 foot above ground watching the medics with red cross
cases moving towards the trench. This was not like a dream with mixed up
confusing aspects this was real. It was not until I was much older that I even
heard of past lives/I don't know what I thought reincarnation meant. I have
also seen accounts on TV of soldiers in modern warfare like Iraq or even people
in ordinary lives having the experience of floating in the air when injured Is there
