So, already reclining on a sofa I entered into a state of comfortable low-key thought and visualized  being with my son that I was very close to.  In seconds I found myself in his automobile driving through a  part of town where a river exists and we were driving toward a bridge that spanned that river.  Driving over the bridge  the windshield of his automobile became suddenly covered with water splashing wildly over the whole windshield? I immediately sat up and ended the journey, fearing that the automobile had gone off the bridge and into the river!

I was upset and decided I would not ever fool with OBE again.  Nervously I sat upon the sofa experiencing some fear that what I had experienced may have actually happened.  Finally about ten minutes or less passed by and in walked my son.

I was totally relieved to see my boy, and I asked him where he had been.   He answered that  he had been to the car wash.  I inquired of him as to what road he had traversed to get to the car wash and how long ago  had he been there! He responded with a conspicuous smile "I drove over the bridge at the port, and went directly to the carwash in Salem.   How else would I get there?"   he was still smiling "Why do you ask"?    "No reason I replied"  I did not tell him why I was asking such seemingly silly questions.  I was so relieved that he was home safe and sound, and that water on his windshield was from a carwash and not the river, that I just laid back and thanked the higher power for bringing my boy home safely to me.

Since that strange event my life has  been riddled with paranormal experiences and and I am currently in the middle of such a strange event that I am completely overwhelmed.  I might add that the Salem Witch Trials that occurred in my neighborhood back in 1692 have surfaced as a totally peculiar event that seem to include me and members of my family in that very confused and sad time. There is far too much to discuss in this forum but from all that has been going on in my life I believe that reincarnation may well be a reality.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   No it was completely real as others since have been.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes     I was there in the automobile with my son and fully conscious of the fact that I was not at home where I had been seconds before, though I knew somehow or other that I was simultaneously at home!

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            vivid fearful emotions for my sons life.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           No

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?    No           

Did you see a light?           No      

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes     My son was driving the automobile.

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state? Yes    

Different experiences.   But one of the strangest experiences that I experienced was the blacking out of street lights when driving under them every night for several years and actually being able to look up at a street light as I drove by and make it go out.  Also some strange dreams that  came to fruition in real life!

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          Yes    

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?          Yes            They were not different, and they wee working as they normally worked.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Yes     Sometimes

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?    Yes     I am aware of where we are going as a species and unfortunately I have  now been forced into a situation that is leading me to become aware that reincarnation may well be reality, and I may well be experiencing pay-back for the behavior of past lives that are attached to my spirit?

Did you become aware of future events?       Yes     I am unclear to the depth and clarity of these happenings as of this time.  There is much happening that is overwhelming and time consuming at this juncture in life.

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?       No      

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?   Yes     I have become  aware of many paranormal activities  that are a part of my life  and I am not sure they should be classified as gifts.  I think more likely one might see these  things as truth and possible answers to a powerful curiosity that I have been possessed of all of my life.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Uncertain      Since that experience, one of many many unusual experiences that have and are occurring in my life I am simply aware of a multitude of activities that abound in this energy field where biology has served the cause of the evolution of intelligence that may well the most significant and appreciated item in the itinerary of the higher power that is itself evolving in the body of Universe where we reside in an evolving state to serve the body of energy we perceive or identify as the  universe.

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       It has added in a small way to my search for being.....

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         I am more spiritual and as always very curious and finding answers to this curiosity.

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     Most people are numb to such experience, and not particularly interested in much beyond what is on TV tonight, or the super bowl or pennant race or what is hot on the silver screen....

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  relative to that particular experience I  found  myself relieved and excited.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      best part was knowing that the OBE was a real phenomenon as I found out for myself.  Worst part of that particular experience was the fear that my son 's life may have been in jeopardy.

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?        No, just that much has evolved  with respect to paranormal activity since then.  I believe I may be  a victim of 'Karma' or some such effect presently in a particular I am totally amazed at what reality is and how much the common man avoids the truth.

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         Yes     My life is a constant search for that which must be pursued and I am eternally engaged in the search for what is.

Did the questions asked and information you provided accurately and comprehensively describe your experience?               Yes     I have but touched on the true consciousness that never fails to reward me and i do believe that I am here to participate in the search for that of which we are a miniscule part. I regret that I allowed earthly trivia to interrupt the search that began within me as a very small boy.  I am afraid  I lost touch with the true reality for a period of some twenty odd years, and I believe I may well be paying a price for that extravagant waste of valuable time.  I suppose I will be back here to hopefully continue with the search.   I had hoped that I would be around for the great transfer of intelligent life that is soon to overshadow the biological mess where we evolved, but that may not be possible this time around.    I hope that the future, regardless of the venue  where I will be operating will allow freedom of thought and the ability to think as does the human brain that man has so patiently contrived over the eons of time it took to realize such pompous status.
