Pat A Experience
|
Experience description:
This is a short event, yet a true event. At age 8 I was home sick from
school running a high temperature of about 103 f while laying on the Sofa. I was
watching an old TV Program called Webster Webfoot. My Brother was seated on the
Sofa near me watching TV as well. I could feel a ,switching, or something like
an ,internal clicking, of my consciousness or ,self', it was not turning on or
off, but was ,switching from a low to a high, tone. I interpreted it as a rapid
sensation as if something was effecting me internally that was hard and is hard
to describe. As best as I can say, is this ,switching, was in my head and felt
like patterns of geometric shapes were going through my awareness not unlike a
soft wind, they had square and rectangular shapes.
The next thing I knew is that I began to ,swell,, not physically, but mentally,
my ,self,, me, Moved from the Sofa watching TV to the entire living room taking
up All the Space there. I was simply the Room, all of it.
From this point I became aware of my body down on the Sofa watching TV. I was
calm, cool, could care less about what just occurred, it felt natural.I viewed
my body as a natural object, it was still apparently watching TV, but I was not
viewing it from that perspective, as I was the room and all of it, the body was
something I was not associated with.
I have no perception of how long I remained in this state. I eventually came
back to my body and watched TV as if nothing happened. I never told anyone.
At the time
of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?
No
Was the experience
difficult to express in words?
Yes
As stated prior, 3D terms do not work
while trying to explain consciousness expanding out of the 3D realm, this was my
interpretation of what occurred, in retrospect of course, then it felt normal
and I did not question it.
At what time during the
experience were you at your highest level of
consciousness and alertness?
While above my body and as I ,became the room,; I
filled the room like a big balloon, it was rather cool too.
How did your highest level
of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal
everyday consciousness and alertness?
More
consciousness and alertness than normal
To explain in 3D terms is near impossible;
the language does no justice to the event and never can. As best as I can
explain, I was aware of ,myself, being larger than a tiny body could hold. I was
alert to ,All of the room, in detail, no anxiety, all was normal and good,a
natural state I felt at that time.
Please
compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had
immediately prior to the time of the experience.
Unknown
Please
compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had
immediately prior to the time of the experience.
No recollection
Did you see
or hear any earthly events that were occurring during a time that your
consciousness / awareness was apart from your physical / earthly body?
Yes
I was able to watch the TV
What emotions did you feel
during the experience?
Total calmness. Timeless non worrying emotion.
Did you pass into or
through a tunnel?
No
Did you see an unearthly
light?
No
Did
you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable
voice?
No
Did you encounter or
become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by
name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)?
No
Did
you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings?
No
Did
you become aware of past events in your life during your experience?
No
Did
you seem to enter some other, unearthly world?
No
Did time seem
to speed up or slow down?
Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or
lost all meaning
Time was a non issue, a
non experience, it was all about NOW, Right now.Time did not exist for me.
Did
you suddenly seem to understand everything?
No
Did you reach a boundary
or limiting physical structure?
No
Did
you come to a border or point of no return?
No
Did scenes from the
future come to you?
No
During
your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness
suggesting that there either is (or is not) continued existence after earthly
life (“life after death”)?
Yes
Oh yes, the information is All Intuitive.
Its like walking from the heat into an air conditioned room, you know it's cool
inside and nobody has to explain it to you. I felt ,All is well and always will
be,. Nobody said this, I just knew it as truth.
During
your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that God
or a supreme being either does (or does not) exist?
Yes
Again, All Intuitive. Its difficult to
describe knowing truth with the inability to describe it's origin.
During
your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that you
either did (or did not) exist prior to this lifetime?
No
During
your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that a
mystical universal connection or unity/oneness either does (or does not) exist?
Yes
As my consciousness expanded I became
aware I was larger than I felt in a small body of an 8 year old. I was huge. I
felt connected and calm, but I never expanded larger than the room.
During your experience,
did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding earthly life’s
meaning or purpose?
No
During your experience,
did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding earthly life’s
difficulties, challenges, or hardships?
No
During your experience,
did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding love?
No
During your experience,
did you encounter any other specific information / awareness that you have not
shared in other questions that is relevant to living our earthly lives?
No
Did you have a sense of
knowing special knowledge or purpose?
Yes
Being ,aware, in a human body is far
different than being ,Aware, outside of it. The limitations I felt had no limits
outside of the body. This is the Knowledge I Knew to be true.
What occurred during your
experience included:
Content that was entirely not consistent with the
beliefs you had at the time of your experience
I always had Catholic belief systems. So, how does one leave their body and
not face judgment or die in my case? It made no sense, yet made perfect sense
after I thought about it all.
How accurately do you
remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around
the time of the experience?
I remember the experience more accurately than
other life events that occurred around the time of the experience.
This event seemed very normal at the time it occurred. So normal, I never
felt the need to speak to anyone about it. I did not question it nor recognize
it as odd. I did not recognize it as an NDE until some 30 years later when I
began to read about them in Dr Raymond Moody's book printed in 1976. In Moody's
book many went through a tunnel and so on, mine wasn't like that, but close
enough for me.
My
experience directly resulted in:
No changes in my life
Did you have any changes in your values or beliefs after the experience that
occurred as a result of the experience?
No
Do you
have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that
you did not have before the experience?
Uncertain
How does one explain away ,knowing,
personalities of people one does not know? i.e. being able to see through the
veneer of fake personalities to see the true motives of others? One might sound
whacked ...
Have you ever shared this experience with others?
No
Did you have any knowledge
of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?
No
What did you believe about
the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:
Experience was definitely real
After I came back to my body I simply
watched TV. I felt normal, not alarmed and it was as if a normal event occurred.
I look back on it as if I was looking back on a football game I may have watched
back then, except it is crystal clear.
What do you believe about
the reality of your experience at the current time:
Experience was definitely real
It was real because I experienced what it
was like to ,Be and entire room,; I was the room and all it's contents. Which I
can only explain in Biblical terms ; ,I AM,. I am far more than I am within a
body, I felt the expansion of awareness and I was no longer looking at the TV
from the Sofa, I was ,experiencing being the room,. I was that room
Have your relationships
changed specifically as a result of your experience?
No
Have your religious
beliefs/spiritual practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?
No
At
any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience?
Uncertain
I learned to direct consciousness to
,awaken, within the nightly dream state by pre sleep suggestions I do so. I ask
for Questions within the dream state to alert me I am sleeping. Once this
occurred, I am awake and in full control of my , dream,, which in my view, is
not a dream but an expansion of consciousness. I have details I wrote down
during these events
Did
the questions asked and information that you provided accurately and
comprehensively describe your experience?
Yes
