Experience description:

I felt cold wind and I remember seeing my community below me...lights mainly...and I could see house tops south of where I lived. I don't know why this happened. I felt wonderment at first and then fear. I came back through my open window and saw my bed and me sleeping. Weird experience.

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No      

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Uncertain      I felt I may not return if I kept going. I never tried to induce that again but I want to now...I don't know why.

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           I seemed to be very aware for most of it.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   No...I knew dreams...nothing has ever been like that before or since.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes    

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            It was wonderful and exciting at first ...maybe 10 minutes (guess) and then I felt the cold air and the feeling that if I traveled beyond this point I would not make it back to my body.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?    No           

Did you see a light?           Uncertain      Saw lights of the community I lived in.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?             Yes     If I went further I won't make it back...I would say approximately 2 miles from my house.

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?       Yes     Fear...I had to get back.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Uncertain      I grew up...I don't know what I believe yet and I am 41...still seeking the truth.

Have you shared this experience with others?         No       What emotions did you experience following your experience?        There was something more to our world than we saw...I was a kid...I didn't know what to think. Maybe it was a test of ability and I flunked.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      I could see everything from the air. That was great...just the fear of not returning was the worst.
