Experience description:

I have had this memory ever since I was born, I always knew about it,

I was in a very large, very bright white room, with windows at the top with sparkling white light streaming in.

My first consciousness was standing at the bottom of a ladder for a swing set play set. I was happy.

I climbed the ladder, and stood in front of a red slide that had a bit of a tunnel to it,

and another child said something like 'she is here for you.' There were maybe three other children there.

so I slid down the slide, and a lady in white put her hand out, so I took it. we walked down a long white hall, and at the end crossed another hallway.

there was a mannin a wheelchair, leg in a cast, and a light blue robe.

The lady pointed and said, 'That's going to be your dad.'

I nodded and implied ok. I looked at him. He ended up being my real dad, years later. I learned he had a broken leg his senior year of high school, same leg I saw in the cast.

A moment later I felt like I was in the shape of a ball sort of...hard to describe because I had no body.

I was floating, then for maybe two seconds there was a feeling of falling quickly but I was not afraid.

Then a feeling of overwhelming-ness that was new to me. Something like pain, noise in my ears, a cry, fast moving motion that my eyes couldn't focus on.

Next I remember being wrapped in softness, held by someone, being lowered. I saw white, then a grey line, then more white- it was my mom sitting down in the front of the car with me.

I remember staring at movement above my head and a black object contrasted against white, it was the butterfly mobile in my bed and a painting of Raggedy Ann and Andy that my mom propped up in my crib but didnt hang up until I was two weeks old. the black spot was a shoe in the painting.

I remember sitting in a tight car seat type chair, staring into the dark, a lightened room off to my left, when my parents would put me in my grandmothers living room to sleep while they played cards in the kitchen.

I have many many more childhood memories than that as well.

I often long to go “home”- because I want to go back to that place I was before I was born.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?          No      

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words?         No           

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?    No      

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?    Very alert most of the time, sometimes a little sleepy after birth

              Was the experience dream like in any way?         no. it was very real.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body? Yes     

What emotions did you feel during the experience?        happiness, awe

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?      there was music in the big white hallway that I have never heard again and cannot describe,

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?      Yes      I knew I was in heaven, but there wasn't that name for it

Did you see a light?  Yes      bright white light coming in the windows

Did you meet or see any other beings?     Yes      I felt I knew the woman who came to take my hand and walk me down the hall,

I saw my future dad

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state?  Yes     

I did not know for several years that my dad had his left leg in a cast, as I saw him in my vision  from before birth

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?       Yes      my dad

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?  Yes     there was no verbal language, just thought. I could see and hear perfectly

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?          Yes      there was no time where I was

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?         Yes      I knew about God and the way the world was supposed to be

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?                      No      

Did you become aware of future events?  Yes      seeing who was going to be my dad

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?  No

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?    Yes      I know things about people and about God that cant be described. I have a sense of how real Heaven is, I have odd gifts with children such as being able to comfort them.

I have had visions and dreams many times that were odd at the time but were things that happened later on

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   No      

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       have a deep belief in God because of it

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?            Yes      i have always been ready to go home to heaven at any time

Have you shared this experience with others?     Yes      they think its amazing. I have talked about it all my life.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?   best- knowing I was home there
