Michelle B's Experience
|
Experience description:
It was sometime after
midnight, I couldn't sleep so I began to tense up my toes, holding them tense
for 10 seconds then releasing them. I did this to every muscle in my body while
repeating in my brain, "You can imprison my body but not my soul." When I
reached my head I was forcing out confinement and replacing it with freedom.
Then I began to sink,
through my mattress into the dirt slowly. I could feel the coolness of the dirt,
I could even smell it. I said to myself, "no I am not going there." I then began
to raise very quickly until I got so high that it was hard to breath. I then
told myself, "lower like an airplane," I was traveling about the height of an
airplane. I could see the squares where there was farming being done, then I
reached the water, (I assume the ocean) where I could see the white waves. I
remember feeling the moistness as I went through clouds. I was over land again
only it was almost dessert like and then suddenly I was on the ground. In the
distance I could see a lot of smoke and what looked like burning oil refineries.
I was by what looked like a military convoy. There were many open truck type
vehicles, (Hummer's as I know them now). There were US military men and foreign
military men that were leading the US troops in. I Was trying to talk to them
and became frustrated that they could not see me. I then went into a camouflage
dessert colored underground room. There was a map and lanterns on the table and
about 5-7 high ranked officers. They were pointing out towns on a map, saying
things like, "neutral area, escorts, and how many trucks were going in, should
not be hostile area was evacuated." I tried talking to them as well but again I
was ignored. I was then on a truck going with the soldiers there were large
mounted guns, an each truck had 8-10 men on it. We were following a native
military vehicle. The town was surrounded by a wall and as we entered there was
arguing between the native military with another military man different from
him. All men began to exit the trucks with guns ready and I did not same but
just sort of stood there. Bullets began whizzing past me. I could feel the
breeze of them as they passed me. I saw what looked like a church to me, no
steeple, and entered it. There were checker colored table cloths and the part of
the room I saw held about 8 of these tables. I began walking up to the front
then a blond, blue eyed man wearing white pulled me down behind a turned over
table. He said "Get down before they see you!" I responded with shock that he
could see me and asked him how he could see me. I rambled on about how I have
been trying to talk to everyone but no one could me. He looked up so I looked up
and that was when I saw the unnatural light. He had told me, "of course I can
see you!" Once again looking up, he held my arm tightly and told me that I
needed to get back before they saw me. I literally landed on my bunk. I turned
my head to see a Mexican girl standing there saying "you were not there, you
were making noise, I kicked your bed, you were not there!" The next morning on
CNN they had said that the war had started. I turned and looked at the girl who
was standing next to my bunk when I landed and while pointing at the TV I said
"I was there!" This all occurred when it was dark in California, but either dusk
or dawn where I was.
