MeKenzie Jo's Experience
|
Experience description: Any
associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the
experience: No Was the
experience difficult to express in words?
Uncertain
What was it about the
experience that makes it hard to communicate?
Well, sometimes I can express what happened there, but some is beyond. I can't
explain it even in 1,000 words. I still can't explain, but about 95% of my obes,
I can explain very well. At the
time of the experience, was there an associated life threatening event?
No What was
your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?
Very high... beyond any lucid dreams I had with highest consciousness... beyond
that... I can't describe how high. Was the
experience dream like in any way?
No. It was REAL. Did you
experience a separation of consciousness from your body?
Yes What
emotions did you feel during the experience?
Excited, confused, calm, peaceful, and began to panic at the end of my first
conscious obe. Did you
hear any unusual sounds or noises?
I don't know how to explain them... I heard the roaring sound before I
separated... the first sound I heard... I never heard anything in my real life
because I'm very deaf... and then that voice behind me when I was having an obe. Did you
meet or see any other beings?
Uncertain
Describe:
Only heard a voice from behind... as I turned around to see... I was pulled
back. Did you
experience a review of past events in your life?
No
Describe:
(not in this obe) but I did in other obes. Did you
have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you
did not have prior to the experience?
Uncertain
Describe:
I would have dreams that come true many time prior. I saw spirits prior to the
experience as well. I became a medium and psychic reader prior to this
experience. Did you
have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?
Yes
Describe:
THERE is a life after death. :) Also that I can use my experiences to tell
others that there is a life after death. Has the
experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices etc.?
Career choices?
Religion... I still believe it, but I became very opened-mind and I have became
more liberal... more like a spiritual person instead a religious person. What
emotions did you experience following your experience?
Love, happy, peaceful, excited, scared (at the end when I heard a voice for the
first time). What was
the best and worst part of your experience?
Best... flying!!! Worst... pulled back into my body... and have to suffer again
:( Following
the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or
substances which reproduced any part of the experience?
No Did the
questions asked and information you provided accurately and comprehensively
describe your experience?
Yes
Explain:
You made me think too hard lol. :) I think it's very detailed and enough to
provide accurate information. Please
offer any suggestions you have to improve the www.oberf.org questionnaire?
I think it's enough... :) It's perfect.
It was my first OBE. I remember that I was woken by a alarm clock with a lamp
flashing (I'm deaf so I use different kind of alarm to wake me up). I was
extremely tired so I pushed the snooze button. I fell asleep, suddenly I felt a
surge of vibration. It wasn't a big deal as I experienced it before. It was
somehow too familiar. Suddenly, I thought of floating out.
Suddenly it followed my thought, leaving me feeling myself going out of my body
as if my body was a glove-like for my spirit body. It was a strange sensation.
I continued to float toward the ceiling before I was able to see. When my sight
sense was turned on, I realized that it was my first conscious obe (I read a
book about "Tomorrow" or something like that, I can't remember, but it talked
about obe a bit so I thought I'd try and induce it sometimes to see if it's
real).
The details were extremely overwhelming. I was in my room... drifting around.
Flying was my favorite thing when I become lucid in my dreams so it wasn't not
new to me, except that it was more real. I thought about the story that I read
that a guy went through the wall. I tried that, I hated that feeling, but it
was kinda cool. I felt the texture of the wall, even the window's texture.
When I finally got outside. It was dark, but is glowing as if my body was the
source of light. I got excited, but somehow I remained calm (a habit I got from
lucid dreaming).
I thought of flying higher and higher so I could visit my twin sister (was 5
weeks old when she died... we both were born 3 months prematurely). Suddenly, I
heard... (I never hear anything in my real life, but all of a sudden I could
hear). I heard someone behind me, saying in the most beautiful voice... "You
know that you can travel from one place to other instantly like winking your
eyes. You don't have to fly up to your destination." (something like that).
Immediately my thoughts were racing with, "Wow, I can hear... wow.."
I was overwhelmed with fears of unknown since I was able to hear that I was
pulled violently back into my body and I jerked. I woke up immediately, it was
only 5 minutes that passed by! I was in shock! I woke up, feeling so refreshed
that I didn't have to push my snooze button again! I got up... I couldn't
believe that obes are actually real. I began to research more about those... :)
