Experience description:

I went to bed at around 12 O'clock after a meal with my girlfriend. I had consumed a couple of pints of lager and a half bottle of wine with the meal. I did not have to go to work the following day so I was very relaxed. I awoke in my living room feeling very heavy? I thought that I had had too much to drink and it was a feeling of a hangover. I opened my heavy eyes to see my arms and legs in front of me and I was sitting on the sofa in the lounge. I was wondering how I got there and could not remember how I opened the bedroom door? I then thought that I had gone to sleep on the sofa and now it was time for bed. 

I relaxed to get up when all of a sudden my legs started to float in front of me? My arms were also very relaxed in front of me? As I looked up to the ceiling I started to float a bit. At first I was concerned but after a couple of seconds it was euphoric. As I ascended to the ceiling very slowly I was now worried that if I hit the light I would awaken my girlfriend. 

I said to myself go down go down and I was back on the floor standing. I tried to open my bedroom door and my hand went through the handle? I now knew that I was out of body? I pushed my arm through the door and then pulled it out. I decided that I could now walk through the wall? As I walked through the wall I could feel and smell the plaster covering. I could even see all the fibers etc and the wiring. 

After entering the bedroom I once again started to float. I could see my girlfriend in bed but also myself? I went to the window and just passed through this. I could feel the cool evening air even though it was September time. I flew down the street and could see a vehicle coming towards me and was laughing that if he could see me coming would he think that this was a ghost? 

I thought of where to go? So I decided to go up to the West End of London. Leicester Square. I was there in seconds? I floated around and could easily see people, vehicles and all the places I knew. I was floating above all this at about 20 feet. There was a couple of times that I thought that some people could see me? But they were walking around at pavement level. 

I then decided to go along the Thames river and go up and over the bridges. It was at this time I noticed a silvery thread coming from my tummy button? I raced along the river leaving a beautiful silvery thread going over and under the bridges. By the time I got to the Estuary I felt board? 

I wanted to know if I could go up higher? I said to myself go up? At amazing speed I was travelling higher and higher in seconds I was above the Earth, again I wanted to see how far I could go. I once again looked deep into space and passed Saturn and then other planets. I kept saying faster faster faster. I remember leaving the galaxy and saw amazing sights throughout the universe. 

I still wanted to go all the way? All of a sudden I came to an abrupt halt??? It was very dark and the atmosphere was quite dense although I could not breath it? I could see someone coming to a wooden gate as there seemed to be a stream? I could recognize my deceased Granddad. It did not worry me. Then there were other people who I did not recognize standing by him then more people.

I embraced some of them and was standing there side of things. Someone? said I must go back? I declined as I felt as if I was one? I moved forward I don't know how but moved forward, I saw a female who I thought I knew but could not recognize? Very attractive and reclining on a beautiful chaise lounge. The walls to her place were three sided and kept changing color (very iridescent) I asked her can any body have this, she replied that all you have to do is think it and whatever you think you can have. You can even think parts of your time that you enjoyed. 

I left her and found myself in a very large city type square of brilliant white buildings with figures moving about, not walking and dressed in long off white cotton type coverings. There were lots of people talking to each other as if they were passing on important information and I did see a sort of school class of younger people. There were also strange beings??? Not what I would call human but felt that we were all part of something.

I heard many people say to me that they loved me????? I did feel uneasy about this for what I don't know. 

I was talking to an elder when a voice said I had to go back? The elder said you must go back. I declined and tried to stand my ground. The elder said to me if I did not go back I would be forced? I laughed at this when all of a sudden I could see this being coming towards me. He had a stern looking expression. He said to me (All this conversation was by telepathy) YOU will go back.... 

It was at this time I was struck by a black ray??? I would say it was very painful as if it had smashed my soul??? (I can still feel it today). 

I could hear someone shouting wake up, wake up. It was my girlfriend banging on my chest quite hard. I awoke and she said what is going on?? I was freezing cold. When I say freezing, there was no warmth in me whatsoever. I stayed in bed for most of the day and explained what had happened to her. She told me never to do this again. 

What I experienced did not worry me, I know that there is more to life.
