Marie K's Experience
|
Experience description:
My husband and I had
returned to our cabin for the night. We had had a very pleasant evening and were
both tired. Our cabin had twin beds. Not our choice. At some point during the
night I wakened to find a brilliant light shining in the room. At first I
wondered if the door was open to the hall. The light was amazingly white. A man
stood at the foot of our beds. Just between both beds. I looked over at my
husband and considered briefly quickly grabbing him, but I knew that if I moved
the man could also touch me. My husband appeared to be asleep on his side facing
opposite wall . I opened them again. He still stood there looking at me. I
decided to close my eyes and let the worst happen if need be. I was frozen with
fear.

happening but many times it just happened.
Did
you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?
Yes I was ashamed of my fear. And after a time I began to feel badly
wondering if this person needed my help or something. One thing was for sure.
Our lives took a dramatic downward spiral after that. Almost as if it was
destined and we were now being truly tested to check how strong we were.

Whatever it was we both saw on that ship gave us definite pause for thought. Our
relationship remains strong and we have weathered many obstacles. Perhaps he was
an angel.
Has
your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?
Yes
Have you shared this experience with others?
Yes They laughed at us and said we had probably had too many cocktails that
evening. No, we had not. In fact, we had attended a private dinner and concert
given by a pianist. We then quietly strolled along the deck looking at the
stars.
What emotions did you experience following your experience?
We
were puzzled. Very exhausted and shaken.
What was the best and worst part of your experience?
The
fear was definitely the worst part for me. The best part was waking in the
morning and finding myself unharmed.
Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life,
medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?
No No, but I did have another experience while touring the Hall of Mirrors
at Versailles. Another person of another time walked in front of me while on
tour. I stood frozen again in time as this man appeared to walk unseen through
the crouded room. He was dressed in costume and had long black hair and beard. I
asked if they were filming a movie or something on the set. They said no. Time
appeared to stand still again. As if I was in a different dimension alone with
this man witnessing his supposedly meandering through this room very casually.
While we walked outside to tour the gardens I looked up and saw him staring at
me from the window. I was chilled to the bone. I somehow felt as if I knew him.
Did
the questions asked and information you provided accurately and comprehensively
describe your experience?
Yes
