Maria N's Experience
|
Experience description:
I was in
my room thinking about my ex boyfriend (we had broke up a week before) and
wishing to die. Then i went to bed in tears and felt asleep. At first, i saw a
dream with me and my friends being at school laughing and chatting.
Suddenly,
the dream ended. My whole body was paralyzed and i was hearing a strange sound
like music that after 2-3 seconds it stopped. I tried to move by i couldn't.
Then I felt myself leaving my physical body. I was very frightened and had the
feeling that I was about to die. I was about 2 feet above my body, looking at it
but not clearly. The room was very dark and full of shadows. I tried to scream
but i was so paralyzed that i couldn't even move my lips! Then i said to myself
"I don't want to die". The moment I made this thought I felt being pulled down
to my body very fast and then i opened my eyes. I was back! The
feeling i had right after I woke up wasn't exactly fear. I can't describe it but
i can remember that I was thinking: "what happened to me?" After about five
minutes i went to my parents' room. It was 03:15 am so they were sleeping. I
woke them up and described the whole experience to them. They told me to relax
and try to sleep! They couldn't understand what had happened. They even told me
to leave the lights open if i was too scared to go to bed after that "bad dream"
(this is how they called it!!!). I went to
my room but I tried not to fall asleep in case it happened again because I was
sure that I was going to die if it did. The next morning i didn't mentioned it
to anyone in the house but I couldn't get it out of my mind. Now, two days after
that I have the feeling that it will happen again, but if it does I will be more
prepared.
