Maria C's Experience
|
Experience description:
My wife is hard of
hearing and does not speak English very well. I can say she has had some
experiences that I at first scoffed at being a person trained in physical
science but later I came to understand that there is something beyond our five
senses and normal perception. She has had many uncanny but realistic dreams.
She has had what appear
to be two near death experiences. Not sure if they were but the characteristics
appear similar. There were in the form of dreams. Since a young girl she has
had dreams that came absolutely true. All dreams were negative in nature
foretelling some sort of tragedy. At one point she became fearful of sleeping
because of the predictive nature of these dreams.
Two appear to be
something related to NDE yet are not exactly:
1) She thought
she was dying. Actually, we feared she was having a stroke by the symptoms she
presented. For two weeks we visited doctors trying to determine the problem
nothing was found. As it turned out, her middle ear had ruptured and was
leaking fluid. It finally was repaired but before the repair she reached a
point where she thought she was dying.
In preparation for this
she cleaned the house, showered, put on clean clothes, and lay down on the bed
in preparation to die. I was at work during this time.
She had a dream in
which she was standing not too far from a tunnel from which a soft, warm,
yellowish light drew her toward it. A wagon drawn by two galloping horses
approached. They were headed for the tunnel. Standing in the bed of the wagon
were two skeletons. One skeleton had the reins in hand and the other reached
over to pick her up and pull her into the wagon racing toward the tunnel
emitting the soft light. She was frightened and ran away from the wagon that
was approaching, heading for the tunnel.
2) In another
dream she saw her father (who had passed away about four years prior). She had
visited him and helped him in his last moments pass from this life.
Four years after his
death, she had a dream in which father was standing on the side of a steep
mountain. He smiled, looked at her, and beckoned her to follow him as he
started back up the steep mountain. She started to follow him up the mountain.
But after a few minutes she called out to him, Papa, I do not want to go with
you now. I want to stay here with my husband. With that, he turned toward
her, smiled, turned back around, waving as he turned continuing back up the
steep mountain. Her father also was extremely clean, remarkably clean in
appearance. It was a radiating cleanliness.
She has had many dreams
in which she sees what may be the souls of people or animals that have died.
She had some of these dreams prior to knowing of the deaths.
A) One was
Marias young nephew who was killed & his body hung from a tree near San Diego
when he was 14 years old. This happened on Halloween of 2000. The boys
mother was extremely stricken with his death. She could not eat, could not
sleep, she struggled to keep her job while undergoing this extreme reaction to
the extremely violent death of her son. She cried day and night seemingly for
months on end. Finally, after 10 or 12 months the mother slowly started to
come out of her grief. But she still struggled.
One night Maria had a
dream of the boy. In her dream she entered their home through the front door
and saw the boy lying face up on the floor with his eyes closed, as if
sleeping. She was surprised to see him there and exclaimed, Christian, what
are you doing there? With that, the boy opened his eyes and turned his head
toward Maria. He said, Auntie, please tell my mother I am okay. Please tell
her to be well. Tell her I love her, that I am well, Auntie.
The boy appeared to be
super clean, shiny clean. She describes his cleanliness as not of this earth.
The nature of this cleanliness was remarkable and highly notable. It was not
just the clothes but rather the skin and hair seemed to radiate a cleanliness.
Maria telephoned the
family to tell them of the dream and of the message. They were mystified and
visited a church to speak with a priest about the meaning of the dream.
B) Marias
sister had three dogs. One was particular close to Maria and when she flew to
visit her sister she would take treats to the dogs.
A few days before
traveling to visit, Maria had a dream in which she saw the favorite dog. In the
dream, Maria opened out patio blinds to see the dog sitting on the edge of the
concrete facing away from the house. When Maria opened the blinds, the dog
turned toward her, seemed to smile by the way she opened her mouth with the
tongue partially sticking out breathing. Turning its head, the dog got up on
all fours and started walking away from the house all the while looking back at
Maria. The dog was extra ordinarily clean. It was again a cleanliness not of
this world. It was highly notable.
The next day Maria
called her sister to discuss her visit and to tell her the time she will
arrive. She asked about the dog. The sister told her the dog had died. It had
died the night Maria had the dream. Maria did not know this until that moment
yet she had had that vision of the dog in her dream. It was as if the dog came
to say goodbye.
C) Maria had a
dream in which she saw the face of Jesus Christ in the sky. It was
translucent. It was as if it were made of a clear ice-like material. It
floated in the sky and appeared very sad, looking with down cast eyes in
sadness. She then saw the Virgin Mary. The Virgin came down from the sky and
started approaching Maria. She felt fear and tried to run away. She entered an
old, abandoned house nearby, and peeked out the window to observe the Virgin
walking (actually floating just above the ground) toward her. She felt fear of
the Virgin Mary.
The next afternoon a
neighbor lady of Marias brother called to tell her he had passed away the
previous late afternoon (the afternoon before Marias dream of a sad Jesus &
Mary). We came to see this as some sort of vision of his passing. But, Maria
did not know about his death until the day after her dream. We came to perceive
this as a vision of her brothers passing.
D) I have
friends in Shanghai, China. The elder fellow is my friend, not especially a
friend of Marias. In 2008 he died. Remarkably, apparently the time of his
passing, Maria had a dream in which she saw him and her father (who had already
passed away several years ago) standing together in obvious conversation. The
two elderly gentlemen were obviously enjoying their conversation. The day after
the fellows death, family members contacted me to advise me of the news. There
was no way Maria could have known of this prior to the email giving me the
news.
E) 9/11 we
lived in Carson City, NV. I was working in Las Vegas during the week and Maria
stayed home in Carson. I had the TV on in my hotel room while preparing to go to
the office and was catching the reports of the attack. At first, the business
news channel thought a small plane had accidently hit the buildings. Later it
became obvious that was not the case. As I drove to the office, I called Maria
to tell her of the news of the attack. She was asleep still besides being hard
of hearing. Finally she answered the telephone. As I started to tell her of
the news, she interrupted me to tell me of a dream she was having when the phone
woke her. In the dream she was near the top of a skyscraper. She felt enormous
fear. She looked out the window and saw dark smoke and papers flying by the
window. She felt great fear when looking toward the ground.
There is no way she
could have known of this having still been asleep when I awoke her by the
telephone call.
Marias vision type
dreams started when she was a young girl. It was as if a switch was suddenly
turned on. She awoke late one night crying that her father was hurt and
bleeding badly. In a dream, she saw blood running down his face and head. She
saw him stagger in the street. She cried for her grandmother to take her younger
sister and brother out to look for him. Finally, the grandmother and the kids
went out to search for him. They could not find him and returned home to go
back to bed. Not too long later, her father indeed staggered through the door
and into the small home. He was covered in blood. Someone had jumped him with
a machete. The police took the information while the grandmother dressed his
wounds.
After that point, Maria
had many, many dreams that came true. While our two children were small she
would dream of an accident on a school playground. The next day we would get a
report of an accident while on the play ground.
Saw translucent,
saddened face of Jesus Christ when brother died.
A first my husband was
skeptical. Later he believed.
Other family members
also believe & tell me to not tell them if I dream of them.
The dreams of others
who have passed, I view as seeing their souls, even the dog's.
The extreme, unearthly
cleanliness of my father, my father and the Chinese gentleman, my nephew, the
dog. The cleanliness is not of this work and is remarkable.
