Lisa P's Experiences

Experience description:
I worked at a hospital
on the dialysis unit, and we lost patient quiet often that was the nature of
dialysis... One particular day, we lost a patient who was a very strong man,
more mentally than physically, and it left a hard impression on me.
I went home that day
feeling quiet drained, and as I went into the apartment, for some reason I went
straight to the bedroom, and laid directly back on the bed. As soon as I laid
down, my eyes were closed and I could feel something pulling me through my
chest. I could see the room, and felt myself being pulled from my body and was
free floating in the room. I thought, well this is a strange dream, then I
caught myself to say if I believe this is a dream and am this aware something
else is going on. I could see the apt. but it was darker and all gray. I
noticed I was floating and could move at a very high speed. I would kick up and
go straight through the roof, and then kick down and come right back. I would
fly around the apartment and have to hold on to sinks and doors, just to stop I
was moving so fast, most everything was a blur when I was moving. I was in the
kitchen, and was holding on to the sink, and did another kick up, and went into
another kitchen. I saw what looked like beer bottles on the sink, and got them
one by one and emptied them in the sink and threw them away. then I went back
down and flew around more. I was in total Awe as to how PEACEFUL I felt and
Happy I was... Not a care in the world, just flying and free of any worries or
anyone.
I don't know how long
this lasted, but at some point I thought I heard rain. Immediately my mind went
to my car, and the question of did I roll the windows up in my car? I began
floating and asking myself, (How do I wake up?) I could not seem to wake up,
and I didn't know how to get back to my body. Then I remember beating my right
leg on the bed. I just started beating my leg on the bed harder and harder, and
soon I felt like I was being laid back gently back into my body. When I was
into the body, my eyes opened and I was in severe pain throughout my whole
body. Felt as though a million needles were sticking me all over my body...
this lasted for several minutes as I sit up on the side of the bed. When it
finally stopped, I went to the bathroom - which was divided with the sink in one
room with the mirror and tub and toilet in another. I sat on the toilet as
though I had to use it but didn't, and as I was sitting there slightly confused
and fuzzy, my cat came running through the sink part of the bathroom into the
other part of the bathroom and literally slid to a screeching halt and bowed her
back, with hair standing straight on end, and hissed like crazy, looking right
at me, then she turned and tore off through the house and hid. I thought, that
cat is nuts! When I left the toilet and went to the sink to wash my hands, I
looked up in the mirror and was dumbfounded. It was not me. well it was but my
whole head was distorted, and there was a VERY BRIGHT white light shining from
it. Very freakish looking. It seemed to stay that way several more minutes
then slowly came back to look like me without the light.
I know from this
experience that I was out of my body and that there is life after life. The
real life... This is just a temporary state.
there are only 2 other
people who know this story as back in that time, people would have thought I was
a crack pot to tell it I believe, so I only told 2 people and have just thought
about it for years, and wondered how and why it happened.
Also, approximately 3
years ago, around 2010 I had another experience while sitting in the car in the
garage at work waiting on someone that was joining me for lunch. I sat quietly
with my eyes closed, and suddenly I was climbing a huge white staircase almost
straight up. I again felt very happy and at peace, and was going up and up and
I could see a door at the top, and the closer I got the fast I went, which is
unlike me, since I have bad knees and stairs are not my friends - at least in
this life. As I was getting very close to the door, I heard the door from the
elevator lobby slam, and it immediately brought me back and the stairs were
gone, and I looked and my friend was coming toward the car. I often wander
what would have happened if I had made it to the door and went in...
