Lisa K's Experience
|
Experience description:
I believe I was ill with some type of flu, I had a fever and had been off
school for a few days. I had gone to bed that evening and during the night I
felt as if I woke up and there was a bright light in the corner of my ceiling. I
sat up and started floating towards the light. A woman appeared wearing a veil.
I knew the woman's name was Mary, somehow even though she didn't mention it. She
was kind and gentle but told me "No Lisa, you can't come here, go back to bed
now" she repeated this a few times. I looked back at my bed and saw myself
sleeping. I then suddenly woke up with a jolt, my chest hurt and I was breathing
very heavy like I was catching my breath.
I was afraid when I woke and called my mother. She told me it was a bad dream
and go to bed. Several years later I mentioned this experience to my mother
again and told her about the Woman named Mary telling to go back to bed. She
then told me that her Aunty Mary died a couple of years after I was born, she
wanted to adopt me as my mother was a single mother in 1973, but she ended up
getting married instead. Apparently we were very close. I don't remember her in
life.

I remember the experience more accurately than

Straight away I told my mother who

No
What did you believe about
the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:

definitely think it was real
What do you believe about
the reality of your experience at the current time:
Experience was definitely real
Now I definitely think it was real because
my mother has now validated that I was ill and that my Great Aunt has a strong

experience.
