Kevin P's Experience
|
Experience description:
It was a very personal
matter. At the outset of the experience I found myself being caught up (as if by
suction: being sucked into a light). A sudden, overpowering panic affected me in
an instant.
My sense of vision and
spatial/audio awareness was distinctly greater than is common in any dream I
have experienced and way beyond the workings of a vivid imagination. I was
bathed in a white light that I identified as 'Our Father.' The felt presence of
another singular personage was very strong after I had moved forwards through a
wall of static, similar in nature to the specks on a television screen. As I saw
these specks, I heard indistinct noises all around me similar to that of a
rushing sound: like the whoosh of a high-speed train in the open air. I was
propelled to this light by sound, sounding like an engine or turbine of shorts.
Once passed the noise,
I felt as if I had gone missing. This experience was entirely unexpected. Once
'there', I felt undeserving in all manner, style and expression. This is where
matters took a turn for the emotional-side, I kept on crying, crying for
acceptance-- It would be better for me to be deprived of a limb than to not gain
the approval of this light... all in all, this being my first OBE experience was
marked by seriousness, love and affection. I have also experienced sleep
paralysis in the recent past.
Any

experience?
Yes Ramipril medication, used to treat high blood pressure.
Was
the kind of experience difficult to express in words?

At
the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening
event?

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?
I

Did
you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?

What emotions did you feel during the experience?
A
heavy shock, unworthy and sorrowful in parts. But with great surprise I felt
