Ken G's Experiences
|
Experience description:
In
January 2003, my sister died after an extended illness. We had both been
believers in the paranormal, but I had never experienced anything first hand.
2-3 months after my sister's death, I began to notice that when I would lie down
to go to sleep, I experienced a sort of vibration in my neck that started just
beneath my head and ran down my spine. I was quite alarmed over this and even
considered going to a doctor for fear I may be having seizures. Over a period of
several weeks, the sensations continued and I became curious enough that I
allowed them to "peak." The result was a sensation of floating off my bed and
around my bedroom, then outside my house.
With
considerable practice, I was able to open my eyes in what I assume to be my
psychic body. After several weeks of experimenting with the phenomena, I decided
to let go and allow it to take me anywhere it wished. The only thing I can
compare it to is space flight. I could tell the environment was cold, but I was
very comfortable. I traveled though darkness until I reached a place where my
sister was. I could tell there were others nearby, but my focus was on her. I
recall no sound, but I communicated everything I needed to with her. Afterwards,
I could open my physical eyes and was back where I started. I was exhilarated
afterwards. I felt as though I was almost in a euphoric state and remembered
every moment of the experience. Since I rarely remember a dream, I am certain I
was fully awake.
A
couple of weeks later, I traveled back to her, I assume so she could demonstrate
to me that I was not dreaming. I was able to travel pretty much at will, and
even visited a neighbor's home on one occasion to try to validate that the
experience was real. I witnessed an argument between my neighbor and his wife.
The following week he told me they were divorcing. I tried to visit my sister on
my own on one occasion. She met me half way and turned me around. The message I
received from her was that would be the last time we saw one another. After
that, I gradually lost the ability. Within about a month, I was unable to leave
my body at all. Today, on rare occasions and with much effort, I can leave my
body but only for a few seconds.
