Keegan H Experience

Experience description:
I was in a movie theater, sitting between two friends. the film was Passion
of the Christ and I was a Christian born and raised, full believer. I was
hyper-emotional and effected by the subject and contents of the film (a
portrayal of my savior's brutal murder/crucifixion). During the last half hour
of the film I was crying silently (as I was self aware and embarrassed of my
reaction in the company of my friends) but sobbing. I became light-headed and
felt tingling- much like when circulation is cut off from body tissue- in parts
of my face. I was aware of feeling my heart beat in those areas. The lights came
on in the theater to allow safe transit for viewers to leave. I sat and
continued crying for a minute. My friends were facing me, watching. One second I
was staring straight ahead at the screen/wall, and the next second I was
significantly higher/above the three of us. I could see us all sitting in our
seats in the theater, with the rows surrounding us empty. I felt like I was
40-50' in the air, and was contrastingly very calm. I felt very little emotion
compared to the previous experience in my physical body. Then as quickly as that
shift happened I was back looking forward again, aware of my breathing and
crying. The most notable part of the experience besides being able to see from a
substantial height and vantage point was the difference between my emotional
states from one second to the next. They could not have been more opposite,
emotionally.

How has the experience affected
your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?
It seemed to reinforce the
teachings of spiritual realms I was exposed to as a child
Has your life changed specifically
as a result of your experience?
Uncertain I fully anticipate the ability to
access that state at some point in my physical life, because as a small child I
could lay in bed and a few times was able to alter my perception of reality (I
was lying still but conjured the feeling of the bed spinning) in a minor way.
I'm on a path of discovering/remembering our physiological capabilities.

following your experience?
Relief from the

Best: I am to

any part of the experience?
No
Did the questions asked and
information you provided accurately and comprehensively describe your
experience?
Yes It is the first time I have written
it down but it happened and I do not know what more to make of it.
Please offer any suggestions you
may have to improve this questionnaire.
Maybe there are
more people out there who had less life threatening experiences. I can imagine
that those moved to the brink of emotional capacity may have also had a strange
physical experience, even those more closely resembling superhuman physical
skills. I would compose Qs that do not disregard these 'less eventful' or less
dramatic experiences. Thank you for being here to help us understand our
experiences more, thru information and a sense of communion.
