Experience description:

I was about to drift off to sleep when a sudden paralysis took over my body, I felt and saw my spirit leave my body and float down to the hall way in my house, I went to turn on the light because it was very dark and my hand went through the wall. At that very moment a fearsome growl was in the background it sounded like a large wild cat eg: puma or leopard I seemed to be aware that it was one of these animals. I seemed to take flight because I felt fear, I did not have the strength to get back into my body and I was not in control, I was rigid and pinned to the bed. My husband said that I was crying and begging this animal to leave me alone I do remember telling it to leave me alone quite clearly, with that my spirit reentered my body with a thump and I was then wide awake. It was such a powerful experience that I knew this was not a dream or nightmare. The next morning as I was getting ready for work I noticed a large cat paw print clearly on my bedroom mirror, it was so clear I could see the animals fur between the prints. I left it there for a family member to witness, I showed it to my son who is very skeptical he agreed with me that this was real. I do not have any animals in my house.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            It left me with the feeling that there was a purpose to the experience

I could see clearly, hear clearly, I felt paralyzed

I felt that although I seemed to be in my own home I was in another realm

My family, they believe this has happened because of other experiences, and also seeing the paw print on my mirror confirms that the experience was not a dream
