Experience description:
Christmas Eve 2007 and
I'm at home heating a small pot of miso soup and holding in mind the question
"who am I?" Three or four times I'd mentally repeated my question when a
friendly male voice replied "You've been a Buddhist monk for 10,000 years." This
voice in my head, these clairaudient words were very real and not something that
I was used to hearing but very close up in my head. I've grown to accept psychic
things as possible, credible and real (whatever that may mean). At that time
four years ago I was more questioning and skeptical of psychic stuff. Anyway, I
replied "that's older than Buddha, and he replied "You are Buddha" to which I
replied "what about Jesus" and his reply was "that's another tribe". So clever
me, I asked "what about the TGA" (I was diagnosed with Transient Global Amnesia
in 1999 after my first heart surgery), and then there was a sound or two like
switching, and a movie started in my head that showed episodes from past
lifetimes, mostly of me walking along trails in the mountains which I seemed to
recognize and said so aloud several times while the movie went on and on, life
after life, and all me it seemed in lifetimes as a Buddhist monk in the
Himalayas.
I had turned off the
gas and stepped back from the stove, the miso soup was steaming hot, and I
didn't want to disturb what was going on in my head, or I would have walked a
few feet to sit in a chair because my legs were getting tired. After maybe a
hundred or so life episodes, a fixed scene reminding me of a Picasso cartoon
like drawing of I didn't know what, and said aloud "what's this" and he replied
"Oh, you came from another galaxy" and then the scene in my head changed to an
image of a red binary star, then a view of a planet, first an image of it
with the red binary sun in the background, and then a closer view like from a
few hundred miles above this planet's surface, notable features were few, little
variation in elevation with lakes large and small scattered about. And I said
aloud "what's this?" and his reply was "you are going to another galaxy"!!! And
then I said "there's 105 billion people and the brutes are in charge." And at
this time what felt like a download started in my brain with an activity I felt
above my right ear. This activity continued for maybe ten minutes after the
movie in my head stopped and now it feels like I have an encyclopedia of
knowledge about this planet.
The last scene in this
movie in my head was indoors, a large factory building with lots of piping
running about. There wasn't any visible activity or people to be seen. And
when I said "what's next?" this paranormal episode ended.
Lots of
dialog I've forgotten but I recall that his words were spoken -sounds in my head
and later silent telepathy, as in thoughts in my head. I recall shaking my head
indicating that I was disconcerted by my feeling that I couldn't tell his
thoughts from my own. By the end of this episode it was all telepathy and I
felt easy about it.
After several months of
mulling over this experience with the information
I'd heard that "the
brutes are in charge" and "105 billion people", I decided if I saw my guardian
angel again I'd say to him "hell no, I wont go", but when I did see him in a
dream there was such an awesome feeling of power and a bluish white light
radiating from this statuary like image and with a very sour looking downturned
mouth and I said "OK, I'll go."
A related sequel that
happened during heart surgery on 27 December 2010. It seems to me that I was
watching a troupe of angel children, all very colorfully dressed and singing or
chanting. My perspective was from across the surgery with the operating table
in front of me...
Several
years have passed since I was given information that I accept as a possible
future reality that makes me feel assured rather than concerned about what's
coming next.
Addenda 10.26.12
During the
past month or so, Karen read to me The Eternal Validity of the Soul, a "Seth
book" which described out of body or OBE trips and various aspects of OBE
trips. Back in 2008 when my dreamed I was on Big Red as I call it, I did indeed
see people, about a dozen bodies, lots of skin and all a light brown color as
best I could tell in the dim lighting as I saw it in this room with racks of
pallets about five high for sleeping on I believe. Maybe a dormitory room at
bedtime is what I think I saw.
Its more
interesting to me how biased my mind is and how Seth's description of OBE and
his inclusion of different forms of OBE, which included travel out of the solar
system, made my dream seem more credible as an OBE experience. The whole
subject of dreams has taken on a more real aspect...
You might add a
category for : "hear a disembodied voice" - since that was the chief
characteristic of my experience and accompanied the visual phenomena I
experienced throughout the experience.
