Juan C's Experience
|
Experience description:
This was
the first time it happened. I was laying on the couch about to take a nap when
I felt as if I was about to fall, so I quickly reacted and caught myself. I
started to think of what would happen if I just let myself fall and told myself
that next time I wasn't going to catch myself. I started drifting again and
once again I began to fall and kept on falling. I would fall then stop and go
up, stop again and fall. Keep doing that for a little bit and was starting to
freak me out. I then stopped and opened my eyes and found myself in a pitch
black room and in front of me there was a dark brown shadow which I
automatically knew it was me. I started
to get a little bit scared and wanted to wake up. I started moving my arm and
then realized that it was not really moving since I had put it under my leg (I
was laying belly down with my face to the side). I then decided to open my
eyes, I heard this sounds as if I was standing right under a high voltage wire
and everything around me was very bright. I thought to myself that something
had happened to me and that I was dead. Feeling the calmness all around me I
decided to stand up. I was standing in front of the couch and turned to see my
feet. I then
remember what someone had said about not being able to see you face while
dreaming, so I slowly turn to see if this was the case. I turned and there I
was laying. At this time I was ok with what had happened and felt that I needed
to move on. I stepped through the living room wall and felt as if I was
floating outside and watching some kids play around. I just stood there when
all of a sudden I heard a big loud noise and felt as if someone had grabbed me
by the shoulders and jerked me back. I guess
during that I had closed my eyes because when I opened them again I was back in
the pitch black room looking at my dark brown shadow. At that time, I really
don't know what made me do this but decided to allow my consciousness to fall
asleep and within a few seconds I was out and awake. I learned that if this was
to happen again, this was my way out. At the present time I have learned how to
wake myself up without having to fall to sleep and therefore avoiding some
nightmares I experienced in the past. I have done research in the last few year
and have read many books about this. but I really did not believe it all until
I proved it to myself. I started
reading the open pages and when I tried to turn to the next pages I wasn't able
to. I thought to myself that it made sense and that I shouldn't be able to do
that since it could freak some people out. I then decided that I should at
least memorize that last few words of the page and prove to myself that I wasn't
dreaming. So I did, stated to force myself out of the trance while repeating
three words. I woke up still saying the words and looked at the page to find
out that the words matched. I then read the pages showing and realized that I
had already read them. This is my proof to myself, really never cared if anyone
believes me. I had another exiting experience where I visited some city but had
to go through great lengths to get there, almost loosing my breath a few times.
I felt as if I was traveling faster that anything on this planet. Most of the
time when I have an OBE I just shoot up straight into the air and move as fast
as I can possibly go. It's the most freeing experience ever.
