John C's Experience
|
Experience description:
I was viewing
it from the side, me walking with my parents, alongside a pool, then I had
slipped into the pool, the view that I was first viewing from was almost as if I
was watching it from the opposite side of the pool, then I had fallen in, and
when I fell in, I started to close into myself viewing it as if I was using a
grappling hook to view it, then as soon as I had lost consciousness, I had
viewed the lifeguards' view, in both third and first person, and as I had gotten
up, I regained consciousness.
Was the kind of experience
difficult to express in words?
Uncertain I remember it only in a third person view, Almost like the film
feature in halo 3
At the time of this
experience, was there an associated life threatening event?
Yes I had fallen into a pool and was drowning
At what time during the
experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?
I started off at a curious state, I was outside of myself, its almost as if, I
viewed myself as if I was looking into the past
How did your highest level of
consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal every
day consciousness and alertness?
Less consciousness and alertness than normal
If your highest level of
consciousness and alertness during the experience was different from your normal
every day consciousness and alertness, please explain:
I started off at a curious state, I was outside of myself, its almost as if, I
viewed myself as if I was looking into the past
Did your vision
differ in any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect, such as
clarity, field of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of
solidness/transparency of objects, etc.)?
Yes It felt almost as at the beginning, It was having it seem almost as if
myself and parents where blocking out the sun.
Did your hearing
differ in any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any aspect, such as
clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)?
Yes I don't even know if I could even hear, I could have
possibly even been deaf, or there was a barrier of sound from where I was.
Did you experience a
separation of your consciousness from your body?
Yes
What emotions did you feel
during the experience?
I do not have a way to explain it.
Did you
pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?
No
Did you
see a light?
No
Did you
meet or see any other beings?
No
Did you
experience a review of past events in your life?
No
Did you
observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that
could be verified later?
No
Did you
see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or
dimensions?
Yes The way I was viewing it before I fell, was beautiful the way the sun
looked as I and my parents partially blocked it out of view
Did you
have any sense of altered space or time?
Yes I was outside of myself, An invisible bystander.
Did you
have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?
No
Did you
reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?
Uncertain I left my body, But I was still in the area which I was, I was
almost like those characters that go forward in time and view the future, or go
back and view the past, yet do not exist to anyone around.
Did you
become aware of future events?
No
Did you
have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you
did not have prior to the experience?
Yes Soon, as I got older, I had taught myself to swim in that very pool, and
oddly, I would often be around in the area which I had first started to drown in
Have
you shared this experience with others?
No
Did you
have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?
No
How did
you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it
happened:
Experience was definitely real The experience happened, almost as if I was
taken out of my body, to watch what was going to happen.
Were
there one or several parts of the experience especially meaningful or
significant to you?
The Fact that I
was outside of myself, I viewed it in a different view, than I have heard of,
And it was, I never saw myself fall and drown in my own view, As soon as it was
going to be, I viewed it from a different position
How do
you currently view the reality of your experience:
Experience was definitely real I Am wishing that I could go back, and slowly,
review the whole experience.
Have your
relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?
Yes
As I got older,
I soon taught myself to swim in that pool.
Have
your religious beliefs/practices changed specifically as a result of your
experience?
No
Following the
experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or
substances which reproduced any part of the experience?
Yes The
feeling of sadness, and need to read up on the afterlife and death.
Is
there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?
No,
Although, If you would like, please email me if you would like to know of an NDE
that my father had experienced one time.
Did the
questions asked and information you provided so far accurately and
comprehensively describe your experience?
Yes If
there where new words, or a way to extract memories from my head, it would even
be better, But this is the best way I can describe it in legally known words.
Are
there any other questions we could ask to help you communicate your experience?
Possibly, allowing a way to find out weather or not a similar NDE has happened
after submission.
