Experience description:

I was in a sort of upright position staring at my deceased grandfather who was showing no emotion in his expression, I seemed very calm and collected at this time at his presence, I can't figure how long I was around him. All of a sudden a door opened in front of me, shaped like an 'archway of light' and there stood many beings of energy coming toward me, I could figure their features as they're bodies were like whirlpools of light. I woke up when one touched me.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?     No      

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No      

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Yes    

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           enough that I remembered the experience as my short term memory was really bad.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   Yes

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Uncertain      I was not conscious of a before period. 

I have had an OBE a few months back....and this wasn't one of them.

 What emotions did you feel during the experience?            I was at total peace. it was as though I was child-like and was coming out from an experience giving machine.

 Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           Not that I can remember

 LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?    No           

Did you see a light?           Yes     It was the light of that doorway. To be honest I regularly meditate now and I can 'see' after months of practice with vibrational tones, a 'light' straight in front of me. Once I coincidently met with a reiki grand master, you would believe how we met, lol but she gave me tips on how to see the light closer. it worked to a point but not so much as to make anything out inside the light.

 Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes     beings of light, energy....that all I know

 Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state? No      

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          No      

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?          Yes     I could only see.

 Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Yes     time was definitely altered

 Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?             No      

Did you become aware of future events?       No      

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?       Uncertain      Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?     Yes     Clairvoyant, I can sometimes hear entities, I have an ability to comfort and heal. I can 'feel' energy phenomenally well on certain days on the sensitive side of my body. dreams have been awesome too. loads of little things have happened too, e.g.. coincidences etc.

 How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       wow, loads! I used to drink and smoke far too much, I don't smoke now, and I drink a heck of a lot less. Lets just say I have open eyes now :)

 Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         Yes     immeasurably :D

 Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     Well, I shared with them the feeling of being healed e.g.. energy to feel e.g.. their own energy :D That's always fun to do. after that, I then tell them of their subtle bodies etc

 What emotions did you experience following your experience?  heightened sensitivity, e.g.. I could feel things about people :/ still can, its weird

 What was the best and worst part of your experience?      best is from best friends, family and close friends, as well as girlfriends ;)

 Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?        that's it for now ;)

 Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         No      

Did the questions asked and information you provided accurately and comprehensively describe your experience?               Yes     although, I have several journals that have described where this has left me and all the things i have come to experience in this new life, in a much more descriptive manner. but very good questions!

 Please offer any suggestions you may have to improve this questionnaire.    Awesome questions, so I don't need to better it
