Experience description:

MY Grandmother was on her deathbed for two weeks. Four days before she died, she called out to me in the middle of the night on night number two and said to me I a very weak voice, 'Jonathan, I'm DYING!'  I looked over a her, and her pupils turned pitch black BUT she pulled herself out of that state and held on for another two days in order for me to be able to get her son down, my dad to say 'good-bye.'

On Day number three, she asked me, 'Do you see that tree? It's RIGHT THERE!!' - But the only think visible to me was a bush in the backyard, as the back wall of the house is a large window,. I know knows that Grandma was seeing he tree of life in heaven, Just before Grandma went unresponsive, I saw her pointing to things in thin air, that were not visible to the naked eye.

Grandma's favorite thing was to listen to the chimes on her antique clock. I had turned them off as her hearing had increased in her last days, but I turned the clock chimes back on so that Grandma could listen to them one last time. She was able to hear the chimes, every 15 minutes and at EXACTLY 9:00 pm, Grandma died. I am convinced that she CHOSE WHEN to leave this world and go to heaven! Ironically, she died on the 29th anniversary of when her mother died, just 7 1/2 hours apart.

 At the time of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?   Yes  end of life for my Grandmother

 Was the experience difficult to express in words?  Uncertain     This is what I observed when my Grandma died

 At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? n/a

 How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?         n/a

 Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   I could tell Grandma was seeing the other side.

 Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   Grandmas hearing went back to normal as she was complaining about the noise, but before she was dying, she was almost tone deaf.

 Did you see or hear any earthly events that were occurring during a time that your consciousness / awareness was apart from your physical / earthly body?   Uncertain   I am only able to express what I saw in my Grandmothers death

 What emotions did you feel during the experience?   I could tell after the fact that the death experience is peaceful BUT I did feel an eerie presence in the room for 15 minutes after Grandma died.  

Did you pass into or through a tunnel?   Uncertain   I'm not sure what Grandma saw

 Did you see an unearthly light?   Uncertain   not sure

 Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?   I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin
Im not sure what Grandma saw, but I felt something evil taking place for 15 minutes after Grandma died

 Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)?   Uncertain   I am not sure what Grandma saw but I am sure she saw Jesus as as  she accepted him into her life just six months prior, BUT I felt an evil presence for 15 minutes after she died and I know that this was Satan and/or a demon trying to make another jab at our family name as I was told many years ago that there was a generational curse in my family.

 Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings?   Yes   Grandma had told me  months prior that she started having dreams about people that she hadn't thought about in years. I know now that those whom had passed on in her life were preparing her for her ow death,.

 Did you become aware of past events in your life during your experience?   Uncertain   I am not sure what  Grandma was feeling in this area

 Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world?   A clearly mystical or unearthly realm
 I saw Grandma pointing to things in thin air

 Did time seem to speed up or slow down?   No

 Did you suddenly seem to understand everything?   No

 Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?   Uncertain
I am not sure what Grandma saw at this time

 Did you come to a border or point of no return?   No

 Did scenes from the future come to you?  No 

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness suggesting that there either is (or is not) continued existence after earthly life (“life after death”)?   Yes   Grandma was having dreams of people in her life that have died come to her just  months before she died

 During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that God or a supreme being either does (or does not) exist?   Uncertain   I am not sure of what she specifically encountered BUT I have had Grandma come to me in dreams to talk to me

 What occurred during your experience included:   Content that was both consistent and not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience   I just know that sometimes God allows one to se beyond this world to show that he exists.

 How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience?   I do not know how my remembrance of the experience compares to my remembrance of other life events t   n/a

 Discuss any changes that might have occurred in your life after your experience:   I now believe that Jesus exists in ways that the church refuses to teach and examine.
My experience directly resulted in:   Large changes in my life

Did you have any changes in your values or beliefs after the experience that occurred as a result of the experience?   Yes   I now belie that Jesus operates in ways that the church does not teach

 Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience?   Yes   Jesus has given me a gift of being able to read symbolism ad air times use that to help others in their life

 What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:   Experience was definitely real   I just know what I saw I how Grandma was acting
