I was in a small ante-room (approx 15'x15')and I was instantly met by someone who I felt that I should have known, but could not place in my life. I was shown into a large hall with ceilings about 40 ft off the ground, and the color was light shades of blue-green like a very pale turquoise. I looked the my left and saw what appeared to be translucent stone coffins . Each had some names dates and places on the ends.  I did not recognize the names,  but one I committed to memory and when I returned to the present I wrote the information down.  

***Upon looking later at the place and time of the items recorded, the name date and place were there exactly and shown in my experience and it turned to out to be the name of my third great grandfather***.  

My guide went over to a group of people standing in the corner dressed in white, while I stood still. He then returned and informed me I was going to be shown around. I saw people of mixed ages sat in classrooms being taught in various subjects, not only religious subjects, but in every branch of learning, of the sciences of the earth and geography. It was given to me to understand that according to when these people lived on earth,  that there was only a limited knowledge and one of the reasons for these classes were happening was to bring their knowledge up to date according to the knowledge of today, as fast as they could comprehend it.         

I was given the impression that there were leaders close by but it was not my purpose to meet them. I was also taught that people in the after life are limited in their progression until they have someone to "take responsibility for them", and open an "avenue of progression" for them. This was the lesson I was being taught. We are not all independent entities,  but a single family unit, being knit or woven tightly together by the love and willingness to the raising of one another.    

I knew that my time was running short and i was informed that I would be returning soon. All the time I never asked any questions and this was very unusual for me. Yet I was content to let the experience flow and not interrupt it. I was also given some information and understanding on certain subjects that I do not feel to relate at this time. I also noticed as I was being ushered out a plant that had a multiple bunches of flowers of many different colors coming out of its stem, including one that had a cluster of flowers which had a colors unlike any colors on earth.   This was given to me to represent knowledge that was available over in that dimension but not available on earth.   I was also given some gifts or abilities at that time which I do not wish to elaborate on. 

I then was instantly transported back to "reality" with an admonishment to write all of what I had seen done and said, which I faithfully completed. A lot of people would think that because I was thinking about people who have been in my life, yet had died , that I would be able to create this event in my mind. However it was so much more expansive and eventful than anything I had ever experienced before and the effects so character changing that I would be hard pressed to place it that category    

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No       It was like making a journal of a vacation one would take. The hard thing to communicate was the love and joy and peaceful feelings felt during the event

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          No       Life was great, no stress, no illness

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    All the time, sensory overload!!

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal every day consciousness and alertness?    More consciousness and alertness than normal

If your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience was different from your normal every day consciousness and alertness, please explain:            I understood things totally, about which I had no previous knowledge, nor had ever studied.

Did your vision differ in any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect, such as clarity, field of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of solidness/transparency of objects, etc.)?  Yes     I saw the limitations which are placed on us to overcome on earth, simply disappear.

Did your hearing differ in any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any aspect, such as clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)?            No

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     No

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            I felt an overwhelming feeling of love. I was told that love is the life giving breath of the afterlife

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?          Uncertain      I was immediately there, and I cam immediately back. Instantaneously

Did you see a light?           Yes     It was not like electric light, the air was light or brighter

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes     I was met by someone who I thought I should know, I did see other beings who did not interact with me

Did you experience a review of past events in your life?    No       I learned how to do family history not only for me and my family but for anybody. I was taught it instantaneously, about how to unblock dead end lines and know where and when dead people lived,  whereas before I never knew or understood anything about it. I also was shown how to change my character to be more useful to humanity .

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          Yes     I saw a translucent stone coffin with a name and a date and a place mentioned on it.  When I returned I immediately wrote it down, two days later I went to the church records and the name and date was actually there. (Blew my mind !!!)

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions?           Yes            Every building was infinitely superior in design to the ones we have here. I never was permitted to go outside of the building I was in.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Yes     Time did not seem to exist there and no one was preoccupied with completing anything as they knew there was always enough "time" to finish what was needed to be done.

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?     Yes     I understood the purpose of the family unit both on earth and in eternity. I also understood the purpose of religions at various levels. I also was given to understand the improvement of a man's soul depends on what he is prepared to give of himself for the benefit of others.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure? Yes     I just knew I was to stand where I was and I was not permitted to move anywhere without instructions. I was never allowed outside the building I was in.

Did you become aware of future events?       No

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?     Yes     2 or 3 private extensions or gifts to my understanding and capacities but not to be revealed to others at this present time.

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     I Wrote it down the next day, and told my wife . I have also related it in some occasional few closed meetings. I faithfully related some of the parts I was instructed that I could relate, but have never mentioned parts that I was informed I could not relate

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?    Uncertain            I had never had one and it had not yet become popular but I also guessed from the bible that there was an afterlife. I had no clue what it was like.

How did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:            Experience was definitely real    It was as though it was actually part of my existence. It was like taking 8 hours off from the "job of life" , then going back to work on Monday morning. The vacation or day off was as real as it appeared to be. It was as if it took time and distance and I truly view it as part of my reality.

Were there one or several parts of the experience especially meaningful or significant to you?            ALL OF IT !!!!, There was such a knowledge imparted not only from words but from thoughts transferred to me by my guide.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience:            Experience was definitely real    It was just as real as I look back on some of the holidays I had taken only I don't have the holiday photographs to prove that I went.

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?           Yes     The things which I knew were definitely important, Money, Career, Ambition etc very quickly faded into the background and I changed direction to helping people. My memory and learning abilities dramatically expanded, from a failing school learning type , to being able to instantly assimilate information by concept instead of having to memorize it from books.

Have your religious beliefs/practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?            Yes            Exceptionally bigger view of the purpose of mortality, and the worth of a soul , Not according to their worth to me but the worth of their soul to God

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         No

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?          I had a second experience for 4 hours in 2000 (24 years later) giving more of an explanation of the first experience.
