I can remember just blinking, but when I opened my eyes I knew, although my flesh eyes did not open, my spirit eyes did, I will tell you now what I perceived. The room was in a low amber light, as if it had been turned down by a dimmer switch but it was of a warm amber color, the TV was either silent or very quiet, I cannot remember which, but it was definitely still on. Everything is still very clear to me even after so many years, even the program I was watching (The Quest) 

Now this is the best bit, I felt so warm, so comforted, so full of love compassion, it felt like I was packed from head to toe with soft cotton wool, that is the only way I can describe it, there was no fear or concern, it was MY natural state, it was my spirits natural state. 

I did rise from where I was sitting, I did in fact walk on the floor, I could feel it beneath my feet, I turned to my right and was aware of my mortal body still sitting where I had left it with eyes closed, but again there was no fear no concern, no "bloody hell what's going on" as I have said, it was a natural state for my spirit to be in, it was in fact free, all was natural. 

We move on, although I could not hear the TV, I was all of a sudden aware of some commotion, from where I do not know, there was shouting, cars screeching outside, noises, then when I turned I saw an old good friend his name is Mark sitting in one of the chairs in the room with his hands on the arms, he said nothing and I thought, "that's Mark but he is in Ireland" still not really concerned, just that he was meant to be in Ireland, I never said a word but just looked at him.

Then all of a sudden I opened my eyes in my mortal body, the TV and lighting was instantly as it was before my experience. 

I went into the kitchen and asked what all the noise was that I had heard, to be told that they had heard nothing at all, I did not tell them of my experience at this time, why I do not know. 

This all happened at around 12 midnight, at 12am the next day a guy I know came in and said we best sit down, this was what he said. 

At 12oc last night Mark whilst riding his motorcycle had, had a bad accident and was killed outright when he crashed his bike into a tree in Ireland. 

Now, I feel that for some reason unknown to myself, I was prepared by something or somebody to be able to see Mark and at that time, I was in the exact state (being of spirit) that he was himself in, if I had seen him knowing he was a spirit then this body this person I am, would have probably been terrified and not been able to hold it together. 

Now I feel this is a very important thing to add. The feeling I had whilst in the spirit was a very very strong, concentrated if you like, feeling you get when you are calm, when you do good for someone and see the results of your kindness and love, I do not mean ego, genuine love and kindness. So this similarity betwixt the feeling of spirit, and your mortal self is very close, it proves to me undoubtedly that you must allow your spirit to guide you in your life, if you do this then you will not be harmed, you cannot be killed, for there is no end and there really is no "Death" 

If we, me, you, all of mankind can raise our vibration to such an extent, we will all experience that so strong feeling of loves fulfillment, I know it is available to all, I have been in such a state, I would love to feel that way again as it is the way, the love, the peace, the joy that has been promised us by Jesus himself, it is the way of the universe. 

Let me say this also, at this time I was not having a near death experience, I was a healthy person, I have tried to replicate this experience but alas no joy. Short of destroying my earthly coil, it could not be done.

But when we are all together as one energy, we can be as near as a physical being can be, the closer we become with our higher selves, the nearer to this experience we will be, I for one long to be at one, or as one with my higher self. 

When my vibrations are at their highest and no less, I then feel as much of this experience again as I can on my journeys path in the illusion of time. 

I have no reason as to lie to anyone here, the only thing I get out of it is knowing I can use my experience to maybe eliminate the most fearful of fears, that has been used to control us.

Did your vision differ in any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect, such as clarity, field of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of solidness/transparency of objects, etc.)?  Yes     My vision perceived, a soft warm amber color, very clear though, it was a natural warmth all around me.

I was aware of all around me without really having to turn and look, again natural.

Did your hearing differ in any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any aspect, such as clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)?
            Uncertain      When I first moved into this experience, the TV went very quiet, when I saw Mark I am no longer aware as to weather it went silent, there was no other noise in the room as I was in the lounge by my self.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            You ask this very very important question.

I felt, I was, complete love, nothing more nothing less, imagine the most love a being could feel for their children, then magnify this emotion infinitely, then you have it.

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?          No      

Did you see a light?           No      

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes     I saw my good friend Mark. He was in the room with me, but nothing was communicated, there was no need.

Did you experience a review of past events in your life?    No      

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          No      

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions?            Yes     I was in another dimension that existed alongside of the room I was in at the time.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   No      

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?     Yes            Everything I felt was natural, it is the way we will all feel eventually.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure? No      

Did you become aware of future events?       Yes
            The future event for all mankind, my experience is what all will experience one day in their future, unquestionably.

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?     Yes     I have been gifted with being able to remember all that happened whilst in spirit,

I do know that there is no death, only fulfillment.

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     I have shared many times now, and I feel I have helped diminish the fear we call death. I have not shared publicly except on the internet.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?    No      

How did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:            Experience was definitely real    How I viewed it, Mark was, is, a good friend of mine, I have always known in my heart that life is far to precious to end with nothing.
