The closer I got, I could feel that the light was God. Almost like the light was communicating that to me in my thoughts. The feeling of going toward the light was the most joyous feeling that anyone could ever feel. There are no words to humanly describe the feeling. It seems to me that the feeling is not something you could ever experience on Earth. My brother was chasing behind me while I was running toward the light. He told me that it was not my time yet and that I had to return. I told him that I did not want to return. I said that I wanted to be with him. He said my family needed me and I had to go back. I continued running toward the light. My brother jumped toward me from behind and landed on the ground, just as he had grabbed the bottom of my gown, pulling me down with him. I remember waking up with my body jolting up from the bed.

At the time of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?   Uncertain  I went to sleep and had what I believe was a near death experience. After having this incident, I visited a doctor. After testing, I was found to have sleep apnea.

Was the experience difficult to express in words?  No    

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    The whole time.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?      More consciousness and alertness than normal   It was very vivid and overwhelming.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?   Overjoyed, overwhelming love, wanting to get to the end of the tunnel no matter what it took  

Did you pass into or through a tunnel?   Yes  

Did you see an unearthly light?   Yes   White light like nothing seen on Earth. Automatically knowing that it was God/spiritual great being.

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?   I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin
I heard a voice in my thoughts. I would not be able to explain the voice.

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)?   Yes   It was just a knowing thought that was who was at the end of the tunnel in the light. I just knew that it was God.

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings?   Yes   My brother

Did you become aware of past events in your life during your experience?   No  

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world?   A clearly mystical or unearthly realm.
There is no light as bright as that here

Did time seem to speed up or slow down?   Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning
Time didn't seem to matter.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?   No

Did you come to a border or point of no return?   I came to a barrier that I was not permitted to cross; or was sent back against my will

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness suggesting that there either is (or is not) continued existence after earthly life (�life after death�)?   Yes   I say yes because my brother was there and it seemed relayed to me that even though he was deceased that he had a better life than what I know of here.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that God or a supreme being either does (or does not) exist?   Yes   It was just known that the light was a supreme power.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that you either did (or did not) exist prior to this lifetime?   Yes   It seemed to me that at the end of the tunnel is where I belonged.

That it was home.

Discuss any changes that might have occurred in your life after your experience:   The knowing that love should be shared by all. Although, I don't overly live that way, I do know that is the way it's meant to be.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience?   Uncertain   I have been told that I am psychic. I now feel spirits around me.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you?     It was very special to have my brother meet me on my journey.

Have you ever shared this experience with others?   Yes  The next morning I shared my experience with my husband.  His reaction was very  nonchalant.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?   Yes   I had a teacher in high school who claimed to have watched her body during a surgery.

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:   Experience was definitely real   It was very vivid and the knowing of love

The supreme being let me know without any uncertainty.
