Experience description:
I started meditation in 1975, with purpose to find the ultimate truth, which
I believe it can provide. Over the years of strict meditation, clearing the
mind, spiritual experiences were abundant. Those ranged from visions to
clairvoyance and more. Had what I believe was a near death experience during
a meditation session. I described it as standing on a precipice, being in a
totally egoless state, in the sure knowledge that if I were to jump, it
would be something that I was seeking. At that point, something stopped me,
very much related to attachment and duty to my family in this life.
I have written all about it in my memoirs, entitled The Unlikely Sage, available
free of charge on Amazon Kindle and in paperback.
Many questions relating to my experiences are still unanswered, but I am not
seeking any esteem or merit, simply to share them with those of a similar
interest.

immediately prior to the time of the experience.
Many visions, many profound experiences relating to the level of desire for the
ultimate unknown experience.

types to a constant stream of the most beautiful nature emanating, seemingly,
from the right side. This occurred only during meditation and often appeared on
entering the meditation room.
