Haitham H's Experience
|
Experience description:
I was 5
years old. At Lake Khaled Park, I was with my family; my dad, my mum, and my
baby sister. The park was a small area going around the lake. You could see the
lake while sitting on the ground. On the other side lied the main street where
cars moved. Just by the side of the lake, there was a fence and a narrow way,
where people could walk on and see the lake. We were
about to eat a pizza we had, when my mum wanted to go to the bathroom. As mum
had no idea where it is, my dad led her to it. It was near. They set off with
mum carrying my one-year-old sister leaving me alone, sitting on a blanket on
the grass, with the pizza in front of me. On their
way back, unfortunately, they forgotten where I'd been. They searched for me for
hours, but couldn't find me. I was sitting as I was, and didn't move at all.
Ironically, I didn't notice how long they left me alone. All of a
sudden, my first and only OOBE started; I saw my mum - carrying my sister -
walking through the whole park looking for me. She was crying, and people
stopped her and asked her what was wrong. I couldn't hear anything, though I saw
all the details; my mum, my sister, the road, the people, the fence, and the
lake. The viewing angle changed for a few times; close-up, far, from the
back..etc
Furthermore, I saw mum sit down on the side of the road, cry more, then she took
off her high-heel shoes. She then got up, and restarted the search, walking
barefoot. The experience stopped at that part, and I felt my body again, sitting
in the same place on the grass. Remember
that I was a kid, so that experience was ultimately confusing to me. I was
anxious and worried. After a few minutes, I saw mum running toward me. She
hugged and kissed me, and she cried. She found me at last. I was speechless, as
even I wasn't certain why I saw her walking & crying like that, not until they
told me what happened. My dad caught up very soon afterwards. Mum told
me what had happened, and that she - and dad - thought I got lost from them
forever. She told me exactly what I had seen beforehand in my OOBE. I was
astonished, but never told them about my strange experience. My dad told me that
he'd called the police and was searching with them for me. That's it.
Why I didn't have a glimpse of dad in that experience I don't know. But overall,
that was a very strange experience that I count as helpless, not helpful. I'd
rather not have such experience again. As a kid, I gained nothing from seeing my
mum in such terrible condition. I was totally unable to make any positive move. I want to
add too that the distance between me and my mum was very small, not more than 2
miles apart. That happened in 1992, Asia - United Arab Emirates - Sharjah
- Lake Khaled Park. What
emotions did you experience following your experience?
confusion - anxiety
Any associated medications
or substances with the potential to affect the experience?
No
Was the kind of experience
difficult to express in words?
No
At the time of this
experience, was there an associated life threatening event?

destiny would've been. In most cases, it would have been very dangerous.
What was your level of
consciousness and alertness during the experience?
Wide awake - In a crowded place
Was the
experience dream like in any way?
Yes. Though I could see all the
details, and from numerous angles, I 'felt' that there was something
spiritual/dream-like about it. I felt I couldn't communicate with my mum. That's
also something that's similar to dreams, where you can see a lot, but cannot
comment nor communicate.
Did you experience a
separation of your consciousness from your body?
Yes Yes, I couldn't feel my
body at all.
What emotions did you feel
during the experience?

anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be
verified later?
Yes The whole experience could be verified.
Did you notice how your 5
senses were working, and if so, how were they different?
Yes I couldn't feel my body at
all. In my OOBE, I could see but not hear events.
Did you reach a boundary or
limiting physical structure?
No No, I didn't have any
senses about that.
