Experience description: ***Preamble to OBE; My (now Ex)-husband and I were living in our new house and we started to have some marital difficulties. One night he decided he was going to go out with one of his friends to a bar he didn't tell me which bar and I'd asked him Not to discuss our problems with this friend because I felt they were quite personal. OBE; I went to bed that night before my husband got home and had thought about trying to have an OBE to see if he had kept his word to me and not discussed our problems. Well I had one heck of an OBE, I obe'd, I walked (outside myself) to the bar that I thought they might be at and found them there. I took a seat at their table and listened in on the conversation. I was horrified to hear my husband describing in detail all of our marital difficulties and doubly horrified to hear what "our supposed friend" said in response to them. ***The next morning was a Saturday and upon waking I still remembered the obe of the night before. My husband was working for half the day so I decided to wait and confront him when he got home. When he did, I told him to come into the bedroom that I had something I needed to ask him about and I didn't want the kids over hearing or getting upset. When I told him "I knew he had discussed our problems with this friend the night before," he asked me how I knew what the friend call me? He was so shocked he couldn't and didn't deny it. I told him "no" I hadn't spoken to this friend and If he didn't believe me to go call him up and find out. He grew very white face and was freaked out to say the least.

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience? on a scale of 1-10 10 being highest. I was at a 5 I'd say.
Was the experience dream like in any way? yes that is how I generally have them dream/obe state.
Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body? Yes ethereal looked like myself but see thru.
What emotions did you feel
during the experience? a bit of anger and hurt.
Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises? yes a conversation listed above.
LOCATION DESCRIPTION: Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing
creatures? Yes was at a bar the parties involved were at.
Did you see a light? Yes normal bar lighting.

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state? Yes, explained above.
Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later? Yes also explained above.
Did you notice
how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different? No Did you have any sense of altered space or time? Yes moved faster no real sensation of physical motion but moved thru air at a fast pace.
Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose? Yes see description of OBE
Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure? No
Did you become aware of future events? No not in this OBE have had others.
Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?
Uncertain knew I wanted to leave/go back to my body but don't remember getting there.
Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience? No have had many experiences in my life time both before and after the experience above.

you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience? Yes lost some trust with now ex.
How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices? It hasn't really the above experience helped to end my marriage but other than that, not much really.
Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?
Yes am now divorced lol
Have you shared this experience with others? Yes my ex was shocked but had known of other experiences I'd had. Others I've told I know and trust so they understood it.
What emotions did you experience following your experience? nothing unusual
What was the best and worst part of your experience? finding out I was lied to and finding out the friend wasn't such a good friend. Not to mention the confrontation the next day.
