Enya L's Experiences

Experience description:
First experience at age 13. I was drifting
off to sleep. Heard a loud buzzing noise and sensation of being held down and paralyzed-
unable to wake up or move- very frightening- feeling like I was fighting to not
be pulled down and out of my body. These experiences occurred spontaneously and
could occur in bed prior to sleep onset or during sleep. at this point no
sensation of leaving body. At one point during an experience I felt like I was
fighting so hard to not get sucked down and out of my body that I felt exhausted
so I decided to see what would happen if I just let go and let myself be pulled
down- the sensation was terrifying . it was like falling at a million miles an
hr away from my body in the dark , I abruptly jerked myself awake and sat up.
The first out of body experience I believe to have had was while sleeping- I
dreamed I floated out of my room, down the hall and saw my little brother on the
floor asleep with crackers on the floor around him. The next morning when I woke
my mother was asking my little brother why he had not slept in his bed and why
he had made a mess of crackers in the living room. continued to have episodes
like the first episode without OOB for years- sometime multiple times a month ,
sometimes years in between. The next OOB episode I believe I had, I got up in
the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and came back into my room shocked
to find someone in my bed - It was me. I have always had a fear of an entity
inhabiting my body so I just wanted back in my body so I attempted to lay down
but immediately was pulled to the ceiling. I was looking at the ceiling and
concentrating as hard as I could to push with mental energy against the ceiling
to push my self back into my body, once back in my body I relaxed and was
immediately back at the ceiling. this time when I got back in my body I abruptly
jerked myself awake. one of the experiences I had when I was approx. 31yrs old.
I was post partum and exhausted. I had laid down to take a nap while the baby
was sleeping and just as I was drifting off to sleep, I felt someone rush at me
from across the room- The footsteps across the carpet where fast and sounded
likes static and I could sense the rushing sensation of something coming at me.
I awoke abruptly with a fight or flight sensation thinking someone was in my
room. I was shaken but the sensation didn't feel as though someone had intent of
hurting me but rather was excited to see me- almost like I had elevated to a
slightly different dimension or vibration where the other soul was racing to
greet me because they hadn't had any company in a while. a lot of times when I
have the onset before I'm asleep it is scary and it feels like I am so exhausted
there is no way to wake up and stop the process. sometimes it feels like I'm
wide awake and the buzzing starts and I just start getting sucked into a
paralyzed sleep state. The one I had this morning , I had just drifted of to
sleep when the buzzing started. Then I could hear distant conversations- I
thought my husband had come home early from work and was talking on the phone in
the kitchen but It didn't sound like his voice. I managed to wake up long enough
to listen and there was nothing and then impending exhaustion and buzzing
started all over and this time I could hear several conversations going on at
once and some sounding like they might have been in foreign languages and then I
felt like I rolled out of my body and I was in a spherical shape like a balloon
and rolling up the wall and floating. When I awoke from this one, I just wanted
it to stop but I was too tired to get out of bed and drifting back to sleep- the
buzzing , and paralyzed feeling started again. this time I felt a pressure on my
lower legs like my dog was crawling over me to jump off the bed but I knew the
dog couldn't have been on the bed because she would have woke me jumping up on
the bed- I was able to wake up and look down at my legs to see if someone or
something where pushing on them and was sucked back into the same buzzing state
and after a few minutes I could feel foot steps across my bed until they touched
my leg- I jerked myself awake and despite the heavy sensation of exhaustion I
forced myself out of bed. Did you notice how your 5 senses were
working, and if so, how were they different?
Yes hearing, sense of
pressure on legs. site- I could see the walls in the room and the bed

How has the experience affected your
relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?
II don't have any religious convictions,
although for some reason I am concerned about my body becoming possessed my a
unwanted entity when I'm out. sense this happened I have felt like maybe there
are different dimensions that the souls reside on once they pass through this
one- maybe we cross back and forth over different lifetimes. maybe we exist in
the same space in slightly different energetic vibrations without knowing the
other in there.
Have you shared this experience with
others? Yes My
husband
What emotions did you experience following
your experience? /font>anxiety, fear, a few
times I felt kind of excited - like maybe I could control it and gain from it
but held back by the scariness of the induction process that usually occurs that
leaves me feeling like have no control to stop it.
What was the best and worst part of your
experience? best- sensation of
floating and feeling special that I would see things outside of my body. worst
part is feeling like I'm out of control and in a realm I'm unfamiliar with
Is there anything else you would like to
add concerning the experience? I have
often questioned weather what I am experiencing is OOB experiences or dreams.
The thing that is so different from a dream is that I can be in a relaxed state
and awake and it engulfs me- completely unlike a sleeping state of dreaming
