EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
I had lost my baby , still born six weeks prior to incident. I had been out
with friends who had attempted to lift my mood but all I wanted to do at that
time was die. I probably had a little episode of depression and had been with
friends and had enjoyed a pleasant day. That night I went to bed with no issues.
I awoke at 6am and looked at the alarm clock next to my bed. The next thing I
felt was moving fast above my body almost flying. I panicked and felt a jolt - I
was consciously back on the bed and looking back at the alarm clock. Almost
immediately I felt like I had nodded off back to sleep with then another waking
of being above my body. I didn't feel like a woman or a man I had no sex. It was
me , but I was high above in the room looking down at myself. Then I remember
travelling fast, faster than anyway I've ever travelled before and music
playing. It sounded like pleasant music , nothing like I would choose but still
it was okay. The music had almost oriental/ Asian tones to it with odd
instruments I had not heard before but which felt weirdly calming. The room felt
warm, not uncomfortable. I remained travelling fast and being aware I shouldn't
be going anywhere and wanting to get back. Within seconds I had left the room I
was in to be at the top of the stairs. From here I could see post that had
arrived through the post box. Five letter three with brown envelopes.
I noticed these. Then as travelling fast almost to go downstairs I saw a
woman around age 30 maybe a little younger. She had a white t shirt on, black
bobbed hair. She did not look scary but she was waving at me and smiling. I did
not follow her, my brain was like I have to go back I've not said goodbye, my
mum it will kill her. The next I knew I was jolted back onto the bed. The alarm
was registering the same time but I had felt like this had gone on for some
time, especially me listening to the music?. I remained still afraid to move. I
contacted my doctor as thought this is it I must be dying . The doctor did not
think I had gone mad thankfully.
They did think that I had hallucinated. I had definitely not hallucinated as
once I did get up and go downstairs the five letters were as I had observed and
laid out the way I had seen them, yet in theory physically you had not left my
bed. I often have wandered what that was that morning?. I did gain a lot from
the experience. It gave me the will to live , it made me slightly afraid of
dying and for the first time I wanted to be alive. I felt guilt that I had not
just given in and joined my baby also. It will always remain a mystery but I am
aware now that there is something else we remain unaware of.
