As we regained or sense of reality, we simply stared at each other and went our separate ways. Later in the day we began to speak of the 'visions' and realized we had both seen and experienced in great detail, exactly the same things including sounds and smells and even colors.

This prompted us to go further and we decided to try hypnosis.

I asked him into my home where there were no distractions and I volunteered to go under first.  I sat in my lounge chair, breathed deeply and slowly about three times and began to not feel anything except a tingling sensation.  As my friend prepared to put me under, I had already exited my body and watched him trying to talk to me and thought it funny he did not realize I was above him and not in my body anymore. It all seemed so natural!  When I found I could not get his attention, I turned and left the house right through the picture window of the room !

I started to travel away from the earth and noticed a long silver cord trailing behind me. Again, I knew it was my link to my body and just accepted that as a natural thing.

Just to try it, I decided to see what the moon looked like, close-up and found myself there in what seemed to be only seconds! Don't go there, it is really boring! One thing I did see there was two other travelers that were in appearance, just like me. We were aware of each other and again, it all seemed quite normal like a trip to the corner store!  There was no direct communication, just an awareness. I also noted that they also had the silver cords going clear back to the earth, just like mine.

I might mention that our appearances were not bodies or ghosts. They were simply an image of a brain without a body and the silver cords seemed to be the equivalent of a super flexible spinal cord. They could stretch to infinity!  I decided to move on and found myself viewing a funeral procession, then some small dome shaped buildings made of rocks painted white. The road leading to them was divided and on the mound at the split, there were more rocks painted white.

The scene of the funeral was replayed on TV some years later and proved to be President Kennedy's' funeral procession and viewing!  The dome shaped rock buildings were actually seen and entered when I went to Marist college in New York later in 1969!

The event that really shook me was being in a depressed area at the foot of a small hill and, looking up I saw a presence (unlike myself) that seemed to be the embodiment of evil itself. I stood in absolute fear and panic as I new he would try to sever the cord behind me and I would be trapped there with that being! Almost immediately, there came another being who had the translucent form of a man but had no features. as he approached, this second form touched me and all fear left and an overpowering sense of well-being and peace took over! Instead of moving on, the being went from a simple touch to a total merging with me. This was a truly inspiring event, but at the time, seemed like it was the normal thing to be doing, especially under the circumstances...

Towards the end of my travels, I went to what has been my home now for the last 30 years and saw it with all that has been added since I moved in! The detail was incredible, down to the patterns in the chain link fence we had put in! None of which existed until several years of living here.

One might think that I simply did that to complete the picture, but that would not explain the 8 foot concrete wall put up behind our homes by the industrial complex behind us. As a matter of fact, I tried to stop its' construction.

Yet all this was seen in great detail, many years previously!

Much more than this was seen during my travels, but these were the events that stood out the most for me.

After seeing family members that were not born yet and looking around awhile, I just simply returned to my body from forty years in the future!

Needless to say, my friend was glad to get me back! It took a few days to let all the black and blue marks on my chest and face to heal! He had been trying to get a response from me and thought I had died as he could not get a heartbeat or any movement out of me for almost 4 hours! He seemed quite relieved and quite exhausted from the ordeal!

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?     No      

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? Yes     The events and people seen during the experience did not exist at the time, or were yet to be experienced.

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          No      

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           Though I was not within my physical body, the sense of sight and touch seemed to be very acute. Sounds seemed to have little or no importance.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   NO !

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes     Yes, with a form like a floating brain. And I was not the only one!

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            there was intense fear, overpowering joy, extreme curiosity and an absolute sense that these were quite normal happenings.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           Sounds did not seem to be important and don't recall anything out of the ordinary. ( or IN the ordinary!)

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?    Yes            All locations were later experienced in real life, even the place where the 'evil' being was encountered.

Other travelers, like myself and the beings that actually resided in that realm were present.

I also saw other people (in the flesh) that had not yet been born....

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state? Yes     This particular experience was generally a vision of future events and places.  My interactions were with other beings and not so much the surroundings.

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          Yes     All events and people and beings were all experienced in exact detail through the course of the next forty years-plus.

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?          Yes            sight and touch were relevant and very acute. Smell, taste and hearing seemed so unimportant that I paid no attention to them...

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   No       I felt like I still existed in the same space as those in the flesh, I just did not realize I had transversed time until much later...

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?    No            Things seemed so normal in my traveling that I did not feel 'SPECIAL'. It seemed more real and normal than my everyday existence.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?             Yes     As I left and returned to my body, I had no problem or reservations about passing through walls or windows to get where I needed to be...

Did you become aware of future events?       Yes     The whole experience was of that nature as I found out later.

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?       Uncertain      It did not seem forced.

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?         Yes     Healing, ability to 'see' in total darkness (in color!), seeing more future events (forecasting), on-going spiritual awareness (receiving instruction and help in communication, prayer).  Some of these and others have not been used in a long time...

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Yes     I know there is more going on than most are aware of and it stirs me to living more fully.

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       believing is one thing, but actually experiencing those you are in commune with is amazing and quite rewarding!

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         Yes     Being so aware will wake you up to new possibilities and experiences and hopes.

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     Almost none have had any interest in more than hearing the account.  That's where I hope you folks will come into the picture.

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  Fear, joy, peace, excitement, curiosity, etc.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      Since it is on my mind all the time after almost 50 years, it was all good.  Even the 'bad' part was overcome and resulted in progress...

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?        There have been many more events like this in my life, but this was the most rewarding.
